What are the most annoying enemies in games in your opinion.

For those who played Brave Frontier during its starting days, the Vampire boss was one of the biggest annoyance available at that time.

Maplestory: Snail

Before getting any AOE attacks, I have to spend a lot of mp just to clear them out in some maps.

 

Stirges!!! My double stab rouge couldnt stand these.

Also commander skeletons, they do a lot of touch dmg along with poison gas making it near impossible to take one down without burning pots.

 

Not by a mile. Phalanx come in groups of 2-5 max and don't swarm.
While not a difficult enemy, the taken psion is hands down the most annoying little bitch ever. Especially when trying to get Black Spindle

The tie breaker between lupins and nependeaths/ stirges is that they attack you without aggro. Lupins only attack when aggro'd.
And the tie breaker between stirges and nependeaths is that nependeaths don't fly away and they BARF IN YOUR FACE.

Gotta agree so far from the monsters I know it's nependeaths.

Ah a fellow BF player. I remember this, real shame you can easily one shot them now so players will never understand the torment. Do you still play? I quit sometime last summer or whenever challenge arena left. Still got the hundred from gems from it though. Also i think one of the bosses in the Christmas map was more annoying, if ya hit it hard it auto one shot you even through 75% mitigation

Dark Wizards were traumatic.

When you grew up there's the Tribesmen of Brimhaven with their outfit that blends with the forest and their ridiculously high poison damage.

Moskov + Tigreal + Estes era was horrible as well.

 

I stopped playing around last year as well as it was too much of a hassle to follow the meta despite really loving the game.
The game used to have the challenge factor but it diluted overtime just like in MapleStory where more OP units were released without much thought on the effect of the flow of gameplay.

i still think the phalanx is worse, they have such tiny hitboxes behind their enormous shields and they can blast you into walls to delete your soul and you cant do anything about it

 

Ohhh, PC. I'd love to move but I just don't have a PC that's any good for gaming these days. Ive got a Macbook Pro and my PS4 so I'll be going PS4 again.
