This brings up quite possibly the most hilarious memory I had on GMS. My friend bought a Jr. Balrog bag, and it was the peak of summer when a whole host of noobs were outside KPQ and a LOT of afk players. He unleashed that thing right in the middle of the KPQ recruitment area (channel 1) and the tombstones were coming down like rain! He lured that Balrog all over the place causing nothing but death in its wake! There must have been 50+ tombstones with floating characters in the city.

Although a literal ROFLMAO moment, I agree with Kimberly - they do suck. We shouldn't be promoting homicide on this server.

 

While I completely get that people will take it too far (and I believe this is why the sacks were removed to begin with on this server) I really do think having sacks as a way to occasionally troll someone is a fun addition to the game and I am sad that they are no longer obtainable on the server.

 

I agree with the sentiment. The problem, as I said, is that people took it too far. They'd do things like fill up all Victoria Island town shops with mobs on every channel and follow people around constantly killing them. I would have said that the problem there is that the sacks were too available given the size of the playerbase, rather than just the fact that they existed at all.

That being said, if they continue to be available in future Halloween events (no idea if this is the plan), I think the availability becomes about correct, so maybe the problem has been solved.

 

Tbh, you could just have a pet with auto pot on and it would probably save for a long time .

But this does become very aggrovating for mages selling leech when people come in and kill their leechers.

Overall, I think the game is probably better without them.

But it sure is hella funny to see it happen.
