Just lower your monitor rate to 60 hz and then try to login.

Edit: If you use more than one , your main monitor should be set to 60 hz.

According to OP, their refresh rate is already set to 60.

That's why I suggested if they have multiple monitors to lower their main monitor to 60 hz also.
There's no other way to workaround this as far as I know.

One thing that recently helped a user was opening up the Legends.ini (can be found in your installation folder)
and changing the fullscreen option to on
It would not launch the game fullscreen but the gr2d error was gone for him since

All my three monitors have the refresh rate of 60 Hz. I don't understand why I keep getting the same error over and over again.

Can you take a screenshot of your screen resolution?

It might be something from there thats blocking it from opening

Have you tried going through your MapleLegends folder and opening Legends.ini with a notepad and changing its settings?

It might be an older version of the game, have you installed the latest update?

Test out the resolutions by saving the notepad for each one to check which one will get the client to open
