Achilles skill

    Description of the bug: (optional screenshot/video): Achilles skill doesn't reduce magical damage
    What is supposed to happen?: Achilles should reduce magical damage too, not only phisical and 1/1
    Where did you find and/or notice this bug?:
    A step-by-step guide to re-producing this bug (optional):
    Extra information (optional): chickenpoodl has lvl 30 skill Achilles (-15% of dmg).
    We can see in that video, at 1:10 he gets magical hit, has 13435 hp. Hit is 3886 x 0.85 = 3303,1. After that hit, he has 10131hp. Now simple math: 13435-3303,1=10131.9
    Thats my proof, that in GMS Bera prebigbang, Achilles reducted magical dmg too

    Altho the damage is shown to everyone but you. so everyone can see the damage you take but you don't.

    kinda late to the game, but Achilles will finally be applied to magic damage as well after next restart ;)
    In terms of fixing the visual bug, no eta on that just yet as the issue is client related bug created by neckson. We are still investigating it and see if this can be fixed somehow in the future~

    Yeah visual bug existed in old GMS, dunno when they fixed that but I'll try finding out.

    Maybe we can do the same with all elemental resistance so HT ice attack gets fixed too? hmm also good we got feedback, thanks hehe

    For elemental resistance, it has nothing to do with client or the server, rather a wz file on HT itself. Basically if the damage you receive match how much the HP gets deducted, that means thats how it was like back in v62 of gms.
    If you happen to know any versions that Neckson actually applied that to HT, let me know and I can take a look at it again. But for now, the only way to apply that fix is by editing the wz file, which is a very custom thing to do to begin with and can potentially break other things too meanwhile.

    I thought it was similar, Kimberly said that the problem is that that attack is physical and not magical and elemental resistance only stops magic damage if its elemental
