Create a safe rest/leech spot, but maintain unsafe attack spot for GS maps

I know it's a bit of a bullshit thing to report and follow through on, but it's not ok for people to aggro mobs on you intentionally. Kinda falls under the "don't be a dick" rules. Especially if you're map owner. People shouldn't even be attacking mobs, clerics included. It's kind of just a charitability thing that we don't get mad at them for being negligent and disturbing your map.

Under the player behavior section of the rules, subsection griefing, actions that are taken to intentionally cause another player to die is explicitly listed.

As for people who aren't mapowner, there's no reason you need to afk specifically on the map.

I just want a safe spot as a solo player. I don't even leech or have mules and stuff. It's great exp but I can't even take a break as an I/L mage without worrying someone else will come and take it.

Honestly I rather just nerf the exp at GS or the spawn rate, it really overshadows farming anywhere else.

 

Someone can go into your map, hit a mob and kick your mules of the stairs, no?

 

I agree that specifically buying them could be considered less-than-ideal, but you'll often find red/orange/white pots while grinding. Keeping like ~50 of them around as backup (for cases like these) isn't a bad idea.

 

If you're taking a break it's sort of a dick move to hold a map, not allowing other people to have it. It's probably easier to find a map at gs2 now that people can't take long breaks while hoarding the map to themselves.
