Recommended Quests Guide

    I've been searching the forums and I didn't really find any organized quest guide...so here I am making one for the quest lovers
    so if you love grinding or pqing gtfo Kappa

    I'll divide the guide into sections divided by level. These quests aren't all the available quests, just the ones I recommend for faster leveling. It also includes JQs, so if you suck at them

    I will also include a little guide as in what order I follow to do most of these quests (I don't do all because I alternate with pq sometimes)
    Do note that the links of the quests for you to know what to get are before big bang, but later version that v62 so some things such as exp or item requirement might be modified. However, their exp is still worth doing the quest.

    Level 1-10
    This is self explanatory, basically do the quests in Maple Island...If you are a magician I recommend to stop doing these quests at level 7 or 8, but that's your choice
    Once you left Maple Island, hand in the quest you got from Biggs [​IMG] to Olaf [​IMG] . Do the short quiz quest that he asks for to unlock the 5 quests which you choose a path for 1st job advancement.* Now there is a secret to this which is GMS like, it isn't a bug or glitch abuse and it allows you to take 2 of these quests instead of just one. First take "the Road of a Pirate" quest and this won't disable starting any of the other 4, so you can just choose one of the other 4 and get double the exp you would have gotten.
    *Note The path quest you choose is independent from the job advancement you decide to do

    Level 11-20
    After the quests from the level 1 to 10 range you should be level 11 already at least (unless you were a magician in which case you are probably level 9 or 10). Next up is the job quests which ask you to kill mobs and I always give priority to these because they are pretty good exp, but also have a level limit so it's better to do them before you are not able to anymore. For these, follow the quest line given by your respective job instructor:
    Dances with Balrog [​IMG]
    Grendel the Really Old [​IMG]
    Athena Pierce [​IMG]
    Dark Lord [​IMG]
    Kyrin [​IMG]
    Level 10 - Whalian and the Nautilus
    Level 10 - A Mysterious Entity On-Board the Nautilus (see also the follow up quests here)
    Level 10 - The Lost Letter (to start it, talk to the trash can located to the right of Muirhat) [​IMG]
    Level 15 - Help me find my glasses
    Level 15 - Nautilus' Special Entree
    Level 10 - Welcome to New Leaf City Quiz (can be started by talking to Icebyrd Slimm [​IMG] and choosing the last option "I want to take the quiz!")
    Level 10 - Beauty or Beast
    Level 15 - Maya and the Weird Medicine
    Level 20 - Legend of the Snail
    Level 15 - John's Pink Flower Basket (JQ)
    Level 15 - Arwen and Ellinia
    Level 10 - The Stump Horror Story
    Level 15 - Fixing Blackbull's House
    Level 18 - Manji and the Secret Group
    Level 20 - Planting Trees
    Level 20 - Shumi's Lost Coin (JQ)
    Level 15 -DANGER! <1-G. Mushroom>
    Level 20 - DANGER! <2-H. Mushroom>
    If you happen to be at Orbis which I doubt, but it can happen, I recommend doing the following quest:
    Level 20 - Nero's Necklace
    1. Job Quests
    2. All Nautilus level 10 quests
    3. The Stump Horror Story/Beauty or Beast
    4. NLC Quiz
    5. All Nautilus level 15 quests
    6. Arwen and Ellinia/DANGER! <1-G. Mushroom> simultaneously
    7. John's Pink Flower Basket
    8. Fixing Blackbull's House/Manji and the Secret Group
    9. Shumi's Lost Coin
    10. Legend of the Snail
    11. Planting Trees
    12. DANGER! <2-H. Mushroom>

    It would be nice if some repeatable quest give untradable scrolls (white, chaos, str, dex, att, etc) so the economy wont be affect and everyone is happy.
