    Mozart and Beethoven were artists. I believe they made a cushy living in their time doing what they did. But keep in mind only 5% of everything they wrote became famous and ultimately the "benchmark" for classical music.

    Look at how maplestory advertises its classes, and how it used to draw the characters and monsters on their website. Any new game that is coming out: indie, mainstream, rpg, fps, whatever could use an artist such as yourself to bring certain elements of their games to life. Webcomics. And there's also the trading card things I was talking about earlier. I don't know how much they get paid per card design, but it's got to be something...

    Yeah, in our time it's very possible to do this without patreons, and that's why I think it's even possible to have art as my primary career. Not to mention the patreons thing is coming back through Patreon! I'd have to be really good and unique for it to actually be my career though, so that's why I can only try my best to get as good as I can.
    I feel like I am going in the right direction and getting better with each drawing (although I still can't help but cringe at my digital drawings when comparing them to my traditional ones), so thank you for supporting me and believing in me like that!! <3

    That's exactly how I felt after my art trade with Lixi (first time I recieved a drawing from someone), and then I just go hooked xD
