Slime Bubble Insanity

if you think the drop rate for slime bubbles are bad, you've not seen true suffering for collecting items from places like Neo Tokyo.

 

I did that quest on a brand new character and it was a breeze. You just gotta power through it.

 

I know that feeling. Day 2 still no sign of Tree Cutter's steel axe let alone any axe in general.

 

You know you need to hunt the ETC item "Axe" dropped by Dark Axe Stump and then turn it in to Gods of Mountain and he will eventually give you the correct Axe, right? Only took me about 20 minutes to finish the quest.

 

Yup. It just doesn't drop. It always drops firewood.

 

The drop rate for Axes isn't exactly the best you know, coupled with the second RNG phrase of exchanging axes with that horrendous mountain god who can't keep tabs on what he is collecting.

 

I recommend CCing or going to the FM every now and then if you feel like the drop rate is shit. I swear, it works!

 

Maybe I was just lucky then... Currently hunting for Napendeath Honey, over 1000 kills and no drop

 

i did a quest recently that want you to get slime bubbles as part of it. i killed slimes for hours and got nothing you were lucky to get these 7 compare to me i actually bought it from local players around the place just to get it

 

This thread title sounds like the coolest minigame you never played.

 

Slime bubbles arent too bad. Just go the right right map. and tree cutters axe, just go hunt stumps in perion and come back with about 10 to get appraised.

 

If you're going all-out questing, you're going to have to be a lot more masochistic that.
