Important Summer Event Patch download

For the curious Mac Users

The "old settings" is the same as you've been downloading from the website that opens the game in windowed mode etc. The "Recommended settings" is basically the Mac Test client I had going around for the users running either El Capiton or Sierra were that were experiencing errors with the "old settings". If you've never had any issues with downloading the mac client essentially "old settings" just opens the client in windowed mode where as "Recommended settings" opens the client in fullscreen and you can toggle to windowed mode.

 

hey man seem to be having an issues client won't launch at all. downloaded new client > unzipped >dragged to apps > right click open> then it verifies app> ask for permission to open app> nothing happens >when I click on legends app again it says "you can't open app because it is not responding" don't undestand what I'm doing wrong. any help would be awesome, thanks ^^

 

yeah same here, the client won't even launch for me

 

Can you guise right click the client
> show package content
>wineskin
>advanced
>and do the test run to see if that helps at all

 

I literally didn't do anything went to lay down came back 5 mins later. and it was at login screen....weird asf

 

are there no wz.files for mac users to just download ? instead of having to re-download the whole client

 

The majority of our files aren't wz files so nope.

Mine came up with a popup saying:

ERROR! cannot write to Info.plist, there are permission problems, or you are on a read-only volume.
This cannot run from within a read-only dmg file.

 

You have to place the application in your applications folder > right click > open. If this doesnt fix it delete the client, redownload & follow those same steps.

 

So if the previous mac client worked fine for me, I could just go with the "old setting" one?

Ever since I downloaded the patch, I can't spam skills. I play a Marauder and as soon as I tried training after downloading the new client, I very quickly realized i can no longer spam skills directly after pressing the jump key (which is command), but for some reason it was weird to figure out when exactly it would happen cause sometimes the game would let me spam the skills like normal, which is energy blast and somersault kick mainly. Then I found out, that it doesn't matter if it was before or after I'm jumping or not. The game just randomly, and most of the time doesn't let me spam my spammable skills anymore. None of this was happening last night before I downloaded this new patch. I should also mention Im playing on the mac client on an older '07 Macbook. But again everything was working perfectly last night.

I also want to take this time to say that there are only a few of us Marauders and Buccs out there, and we all wish we could use all of our skills and have fun and train while in transform/super transform..
