Which software do you use for recording?

I use Dxtory, works pretty well c:

I record in 800x600 and then edit it to 16:9 by zooming in.

 

I personally use Open Broadcaster Software (OBS for short)
I quite like it, because you have so much control about all the setting, plus it's free and can be used for streaming also.
Overall 10/10 would recommend!

Open Broadcaster, but you'll have to learn the settings of it and get used to it, it looks alot harder than it really is but fun to use once you get the hang of it

You can remove black bars by changing the Properties of the Video Project and adjusting the size of the video.

 

I'd normally use Fraps for recording videos in fullscreen while bandicam would be for windowed games.

If you're looking for the widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio, you can just render the video on a video editor in HD settings such as Vegas Pro.
