A life of a Hero is often a lonely and misunderstood one.

Sure you technically have the most dpm out of elemental neutral mobs. Our mobbing is pretty savage tier as well. But besides our mobbing/training, we do not excel at any category.

If you roll as a hero, know that you will not get the respect of a dark knight. You will be constantly told "shoulda made a pally". You will forever be the "party 2" of the maple world. You will get berated and scorned if you even THINK about touching the rage button. If you want a training party: Good fucking luck, might as well wait for the second coming of christ.

But hey, that's alright with some people! Me included. Do I sometimes wish that I rolled a different character? Most certainly. But I think at the end of the day, the most rewarding aspect about the hero is that you're good at everything; a jack of all trades.

tl;dr Heroes are just good at everything while having no excellent points besides mobbing. There is no "best" warrior for all categories but get ready for a physical and emotional ass beating if you roll this class.

 

In comparison to melee classes, it's on the high tier for sure. But in contrast to nightlords and ranged attackers? You won't be whiting anything unless it's arms from horntail or arms in zak.

That's hero 1h, 2h is the road most go which is why they hit less than dks. Moreover if you want to hit more than a dk, you need 2 godly items as compared to 1 (sword and shield vs sky ski)

 

Yes. But you notice the difference is only about 1% damage.
People often make it sound like it's much more, while in reality DKs only damage a minscule amount higher than Heros do.
And that is while using a skill that requires their HP to be less than 30%, which means in order to do 1% more damage than a 2h Sword hero they have to HP wash quite a lot.

 

Hero does more in the end anyway. Braindead class that needs to manage nothing, the dmg is consistent cause they dont have to be aware of anything. Such an old topic that has been discussed to death, it doesnt change here either.

This. Each class has is pros and cons. Choose what path you think fits your playstyle the most/what roll in a party you want to fill. The damage difference between the 3 is so small and situational it's honestly irrelevant.
