[suggestion] Coke Town

    It was a short-lived event area which existed in KMS and JMS.
    There's nothing special to hunt or get from coke-monsters, but there are few quests that gives you special Coca-Cola related event items.

    I am aware that many people prefer GMS and not EMS or KMS etc... but this is a very simple event map, with no high-level mobs and no OP items.

    I think it would be nice to have this place open for about 2 weeks as a event map on summer. :)

    I did add Coke Town into our client a while back, since it was also requested:

    There's a lot of things that got me stuck though. The first problem is that nowhere could I find any document at all what each mob dropped. And as you know, I like things to be authentic. The second problem is that nowhere either was documented what the quests were, which makes me have to dig into a KMS client and find it myself. The final problem is that I didn't had any Korean translator, and I don't want things released untranslated.

    The following is translated in the default v0.62 client:
    -Mob names
    -Item names
    -The BGM

    The following is untranslated but could be found by research:
    -Map names

    Things I am missing:
    -Mob drop tables
    -Quest information
    -Any dialogues from NPC's
    -NPC names

    So while I did add the maps, I have currently no use in them due to lacking of many information.

    I do have the dialog for Coke Admin, and I'll try translating them.
    I also have the data for drops from KMS, but no accurate chance to drop. :/

    Chance is not big deal, since our source is heavily modified for the chances to no longer be accurate with your usual source anyway. Great to hear you potentially have all the items the mobs drop, I'll contact you in a PM.

    Legends always aims nostalgia as a global house, so we welcome nostalgia from other regions too.

    I remember Coke town being on MapleLegends and how it was a fun to kill cokesnails lol . It would be amazing to see it comeback I had this same thought awhile ago about asking to bring it back but i forgot about posting a thread of it.

    I've recently been able to strip off old version of KMS and extract most of missing puzzle pieces that KimberlyKimberly mentioned awhile back including all quests, npc dialogues, and their names and now I'm just awaiting for her confirmation on whether now this is possible before I can begin working on lengthy translations to English. Ill try to update here if I hear anything back from her!
