Which attacker to make?

Bucc/Shad requires the least hp wash as far as im concerned

 

Hero, Paladin, and Shadower do fine without washing. Bucc’s can make due without washing if you can utilize the i-frames from its abilities.

 

Heros and Paladins don't need to wash at all yeah, and you'll still be able to boss.

Cons:
Don't have any real party buffs, except for Hero's rage, but even though it's buffed to 15 att here, it's still a pretty useless party buff, since most people use 20+ att pots when bossing.
Won't do NL damage to single target bosses.

Pros:
Good at grinding and bossing.
Does a lot of dpm to multi target bosses, such as zakum's arms and some parts of horntail. (Mostly Hero dues to brandish hitting 3 targets)
And of course, no washing required

Imo Hero is a lot of fun, and you have some flashy skills with decent mobility (Rush, mount + power stance)

Buccs don't need washing either, and are a super cool interesting class so that's also a valid consideration c:

 

Paladin vs Hero

1. Single target damage: Paladins win
2. Multi-target damage: Heroes win
3. Mobbing/Grinding: Paladins win (by a huge margin, in fact nowadays it seems paladins can sell leech)
4. Scar: Paladins win (huge margin)
5. Zak arms: Paladins with max HH win, otherwise Heroes win by a huge margin
6. Zak body: Probably heroes
7. Bigfoot: Paladins
8. Attack range: Heroes win, especially with 1 hand.
9. Cost of funding: even
10. Ease of play: Heroes have less skills to manage
11. Prestige: Paladins are a lot rarer, although it seems like there's a huge burst of them recently

Not sure if they are any different in HT, althought I'm pretty sure Paladins have a good advantage early on with HH.

Basically just choose whichever you want. I picked paladins to be unique and because I like heavens hammer

EDIT: btw I would recommend doing some ultra casual washing. This means like having 30 INT for a few levels (easily achievable with a zak helm + a couple of half-assed INT items) and then doing 10-20 washes. This allows you to tank 1 hit from bigfoot earlier, which is essential for levelling if you play hero or non-HH rushing paladin

 

Shadowers are pretty invicible with their i-frames from boomerangstep combined with shadow shifter and alot og avoidability in general.

They also has meso guard which coverd 50% of damage taken. Ofc if boss dispel and you aint fast enough to recast meso guard your propably gonna get one shotted without washing. That is if the boss can even hit u in the first place.


They are propably one of the most complicated classes to gear up due to the need of both DEX and STR as secondary stats. But they are overall really amazing to play. This is a class that has a lot of usefull skills that your gonna have to utilize to be able to deal the most damage compared to some other classes which u basically just spam 1 attack (im looking at u NL/BM / hero).

Id say choose shadower if you like alot of variety and more challenging gameplay over having the strongest damage. This goes for buccaneers too iguess.
