    I'll probably expand on this thread later but with the addition of the Monster Book feature into Legends, a thread dedicated to players who enjoy collecting the cards would be a fun aspect in terms of knowing your fellow collectors and light competition to see who can achieve the most, achieve the fastest, etc.

    When i started collecting them i was like "HYPEEEE". Now i finally have the feeling that i had when i was a quester and started the server, and have a motivation to not use the Taxi or scrolls (unless im in a rush). And Happy to see that a lot of us want to complete this nice collection with some hard work SlimeGrin

    Gotta collect them all ^_^ Slowly working my way through the zones in Victoria and mob lvls. I plan to somewhat leave the high lvl mobs for last. But I will leave the collecting to my own whims.

    I didn't do much hunting today as i wasn't in the mood for much playing but i am happy to see that my rank is still maintained around the top 50 at #42 as of this post.

    An important bit of info for would-be collectors (especially if you're an archmage or a bishop):

    What attack you use DOES NOT affect the odds of a card dropping. This is in contrast to some items, which are affected by the attack.

    Has anybody figured out yet how the drop rate works? Like is it level dependent or something? I haven't been able to gather enough data to know but it definitely feels that way. When doing victoria mobs it seemed like 1 card in ~100 mobs but when grinding at Road to Oblivion I only got 1 card in like ~500 mobs.

    Maple Island cards are very common on purpose because I want a new user to be aware we got Monster Book. For other mobs its very depending on myself. Its mostly true that higher mobs have lower drop rates, but not exactly. Example, the stupid spiders in EOS Tower are common because not much spawn are from them. Similar flying mobs are slightly more common with a few exceptions.

    ToT is an area where the card drop rates are indeed getting more brutal.

    2 hrs at skeles got me 13 skelegon cards, 8 skelesaurus cards, seems reasonable grinmush

    Doing backwards all the way from Zakum to El Nath to gather the cards, i managed to get all the Cerebes and Bain cards so far but still a long way to town SlimeGrin(i feel that werewolves are gonna be aids, idk why)

    Sadly i did 3 Zak runs and not a single card dropped for us.... feelsbad SlimeCry

    Do less popular mobs, that a regular player would never go kill, have higher drop rates than popular mobs?
