Maplestory Hurt/Heal Game

Another update coming in hot! Two more kills! Congrats to ponpondonuts for taking out Cake Town! I'm kind of glad it lost so quickly... I'm getting nightmarish flashbacks to the event. Also good job to ProTato for dealing the finishing blow to The Free Market! I actually expected it to be a much more formidable foe, but it seems like nobody wanted to take the chance of letting it get stronger. Sorry FM-dwellers!

In other news: It seems like Ellinia is at 11 HP currently, after checking the total amount of heals/hurts. If this is incorrect, someone please tag me. We had a numerical discrepancy up above, and I'm trying to make sure it's fixed! The magician community sure is banding together, it seems. Can anyone stop them?

Florina Beach seems to be next on the chopping block! Usually when I announce something is weak, it dies. Will this be another death sentence?

Special thanks to Azsim for pointing out that I forgot to add China as an area. It truly is an abomination, but I decided that it would have 4 hp after getting hurt due to how early into the game we are right now

Finally, I not really have much Internet connection the next couple of days. If a Staff Member is interested in doing updates on the main post (since I think they can edit other users' posts...) feel free to do so. Just drop me a line on Discord about it!

Thank you for your good checking. Honestly, when I was trying to compile the list of areas, I was so excited to get it going, that I definitely had a couple of oversights! Should have had some other eyes look things over. I'll try to explain the changes I am making to the areas:


- Removed Zipangu. Oversight before I decided to break it up.
-Removed Shanghai, transferred damage to China (3, now). poof.ml has an icon for "Shanghai" in the maps section, which is where the confusion came up, since I was trying to use it. I thought I had originally included that area, and was surprised when you mentioned me forgetting it, so I tried to get it in quickly!
-Removed Floating Market, keeping it as the dead Thailand. Oversight from when I was checking poof.ml and I think talking with the NPC Spinel at some point.
- Added Night Market. Putting it at 4. Originally I didn't think this area was worth distinguishing (based on my perceived popularity of such places), but I think I will add it in.
- Added Ximending. Also at 4 HP. Same reasoning as above. It was a little tricky for me to try to choose how to break things up, whether by city, or continent, or general area. Tried to make some prudent decisions, and some of this breaking-up and combining is where the challenges and goofs are coming from!

Sorry for the oversights, but I am glad they have been caught quickly (and hopefully fixed). I think I have accurately updated the main post to reflect these changes. Unfortunately, my time online is getting very short until I fly out (and might have much less opportunity for edits for a bit ... time will have to tell)! If I have made other mistakes here... I'll try to rectify them quickly, assuming I am available! Thank you everyone for your patience. I hope you are still having fun playing

Congrats to novee for getting the kill on Florina Beach! Guess people don't like the ocean.
