    No mention of reducing magic damage. The attack in the video should be physical damage.

    it changed few versions later. so its either ingame has a typo. or bbb has a typo. I do remember it being all damage same as invincible

    Dragon Knights also have Elemental Resistance in 3rd job. Why would they have two skills that do the same thing?

    Lol there's so many incorrect skill descriptions left unchanged perhaps we should just balance everything based on Neckson's crappy descriptions then... (SE gives gives +140% to physical classes instead of +40%, time for nerfs kappa)

    Elemental Resistance barely does anything, one of the more overrated passive skills that works a lot less than one would think. Using that logic then why would Heroes/Pallies need Achilles at all when there's Power Guard?

    Cleric's Invincible works as intended, and has nothing to do with Warrior's Achilles, a skill that has worked with both physical/magic in the past (with video evidence), and works the same way post-BB. If it's not working in this server then it is very much a bug that needs addressing.

    >40% resistance to element based spell attacks "barely does anything" ???

    if that's the case then you fixed the wrong skill

    As far as the "video evidence" goes mobs can do physical attacks that are not touch damage. EX: Musmom/king slime jump attack

    I'm just letting you know that Achilles did work for all types of damage in the past (old-GMS etc), whether it's physical or long range magics, Achilles would reduce the damage. Even Zakum's 1/1, A 4th job warrior would have some HP leftover from it. Achilles did work for all types. Skill Description should be taken with a grain of salt.

    My point with Elemental Resistance is that it's not very good because there are very few elemental type damage you receive from common bossing/training areas, a lot of magics for some reason aren't assigned with any elemental properties. Just remember, Achilles is for all 3 4th job warriors, not just for Dark Knights.

    Mushmom/King slime being physical is true, but the issue raised here was that mobs that does do magic isn't getting reduced damage, Achilles is not blocking it like the way the video shows it (well before the patch).

    Of course you can have your opinion of whether or not Achilles should block magic balance-wise, but I just feel that it should work the same way as it used, and I think that's what the warriors here are asking for.

    Whatever, is it such a big deal? Let the warrior classes be a little better at something they were supposed to be good at: tanking.

    Hi,

    We've decided to look into the client, and here's what we got.

    Basically, the fix we were also meant to add is a fix for 1st party display. This, however, got a bit delayed because we had some unrelated bugs on our latest client having this fix. However, all we did fix in our client code is a typo Neckson made that caused all the 1st party Achilles display to be ignored.

    When we fixed Achilles to display correctly in 1st person it also automatically fixed the display for magic attacks. What this means is that Achilles was also meant to be working for magic attacks, since that code was completely unchanged. All we changed was a typo Neckson made that made the code always result 'null' basically.

    In short, we believe the description Neckson have put in the Achilles skill is wrong, and that the skill is also meant to work for magic attacks.
