ML Falling Behind :(

GTOP resets votes at the end of every month. It's only the third of the month so it'll take a few more days for the positions to stabilize. And ML generally sits at 3rd from what I've seen, not 2nd.

 

What!? Is ML dying?!?





Nah, actually it's the premium membership bonus that gives like +150 votes at the start of the month. Seems we're always #1 for an hour or so after the reset, but then we go back down to 3rd.

 

Well as i can recall, the quantity of players on a private server its not stable all the times, it have it falls and retributions. same happens to ML. I guess its going to recover again when the anniversary event start.

 

Surely its one of the reason that the games are more less challenging everyday... geez whats wrong people?

 

I think that people are currently dedicating their time now to exams/schooling. Maybe this situation will improve during the summer break?

 

Yeah i think kim is right on this one. People just prefer high rate servers. Though, high rate servers do have their downfall - they get stale more quickly than lower rate servers.

 

Online player count is still within a healthy range so the worry is unnecessary imo.

 

gtop100 is full of shit, dont take it too seriously

 

i hope that gold star medal is for my habit of voting every day despite the fact that gtop100 is in actual fact flaming garbage

i gotta stock up on super megaphones so i can harass random people publicly

 

ML still a great server and if we as a comunity do good the server will do good too.
This kind of reminds me of youtube when people talk about online games, the ones I see the most are Team Fortress 2 and Overwatch and god dem it every few months there is a video saying this game is dead or is dying and nothing happens cos ppl still playing.
We will do good have faith and keep having fun

Its not so much that maplelegends is dropping, but that a new server is rising.

 

Isent it cuz everyone plays gunbound instead of legends now?

 

Legends' population has been stable af for four years, and we've been watching other servers rise and fall through these four years. Nothing new.

 

The server that passed us is a vote2win but at the same time every account can vote 3 times per day meaning more vote count per day with fewer people so there can be less people but you can multiply the count by 3 and probably that's how we went down. I know it sucks...

 

Honestly the ratings on the GTOP servers mean nothing, as long as we remain in this game and love playing it , be it as a pass time, hobby or even try harding in it, its all that matters
Higher Rates will definitely and always have more amount of people running towards it, but they reach a brick wall way faster than our server with a more stable rate, and with a high amount of people going in and progressing way too fast, they will also tend to leave equally fast
