Feedback from our anniversary event and suggestions for future events

Pros:
-Good "Potential" Rewards ex: ws/cs, apples, wa cakes, golden gach, nx, pets, chairs
-Extra Exp
-Nice new PQ to experience

Bad:
-Extremely poor rates from raffle
-Terrible lag during the event period after Puff Daddy dies
-Lack of alternative ways for people to earn "coins" to use

I think this event in general was "okay". I really liked all the "potential" rewards but felt like this event was trying so hard to be "anti-mule" that you HAVE to mule to get the most out if it. For the first week of the event I tried using only my main to get the coins and wasn't rewarded at all. Then the next 2 weeks i used all my mules to participate in PQ and 4 character multi clienting at puff daddy(consistently getting 3 coins every spawn) and was finally rewarded then.

A suggestion would be to make coins have a rare chance to drop from mobs AND rewarding players for turning in puffs (if puffs were untradeable and maybe about 3k? or more to reward 1 coin) this would give people that focus on their main's to be rewarded some how.

Puff & Puff Daddy

· As mentioned by most of the players, it comes to a heart-attack when the puff daddy was eaten & the whole server were lagging especially those involved in bossing/leeching area. Also, hard to get out from the event map unless we wait for the time to warp us out.
· What happen/are the reward if we donate most puff? Only able to see our ign being listed on the page and that’s it? The top 3 puff donaters should be rewarded such as special raffle on WS/CS/Onyx apple and so. This is to encourage maplers to grind/leech more for puff than just sell away puff. Can it be applicable/implemented to coming summer event?
· Possible to exchange coins with desired chair/pet? We have too much of pets in inventory and cash shop will soon flooded with event pets. For example, we have 2 Berry Puff pets, 1 of them we could find NPC XXX to exchange it with chair/other items rather than we flood GM inbox for duplicate pets/items issue in the future.
· Please revise raffle bandana/flag as those are very spamming in our inventory and I can see most maplers just throw them away in event map. If those bandanas got value (more than 10k) when NPC, I don’t mind to get 100 of it. Possible to add raffle such as gacha (common/special)?
· If there is style saver NPC for hair, can doable for face as well?


Summer Event

· Based on last year summer event, instead of we “fish” using net, spamming double clicks to catch the fish which is tiring (or in sleepy mode), please revise 1 big net to catch fish at once. More practical, less consume time, (and saving my mouse).
· Please consider to implement back Growing Maple Tree: Sunshine as one of summer event.
· Contest: Decorate beach with etc drop during event or buy from special NPC XXX, wear summer costume and win it as a team.

 

You are so right, because I completely ignored the puff lately I got myself more golden tikets to wash my new char. And I think puff daddy last longer than 3 mins form me is like 10 or 15 or feels that way at least o.o

 

I just want to add my own opinion about the pets. The duplicate problem is already taken care of but since it kinda put heavy responsibility upon Siao (u r the best <3) so I hope cash item cant get duplicate if put into cash shop storage like in christmas event.

Another one is be to able to trade certain amount of coins for the pet u want. Since the raffle is totally random, at the end of event I got 2 out of 3 pets only and their dups and it makes me feel anxious (minor OCD problem) just seeing those 2 pets sittin my inventory XDXDXD

Pls make I love maplestory Chair at least a Cash item that can be traded using the cash shop inv plsss

Aside from that its a great event <3. Big Puff dad gave me bitter-sweet experience tho but i guess thats how it is, ppl already suggestin other stuff so i wont waste ur time regardless.

 

I'm new to ML and this was the first event I've ever participated in, I really enjoyed it overall. The only downside, which many people have pointed out was the puff daddy lag. I enjoyed doing puff daddy most of the time, but towards the end it got boring and I ended up skipping it a lot. The coin shop was cute and I really liked the cosmetic items as well as the hair and face coupon options. I'm looking forward to future events!
