    • Bounded Account Nx.
    • Nx awarded when live/active on stream (none for afk).
    • Nx awarded per hourly basis.
    • Nx base hourly value: 100.
    • Compounding Streaming Streak: 20%.
    • Engages the MS community on our server's content/event/activity.
    • Allows potential/current players to ask Questions (hp/mp washing, bossing, etc.)
    • Helps out Full Time Streamers on twitch/youtube (more viewers w Maplelegends tag?)

    • Takes effort into setting up a stream, especially MacOS (youtube guides)

    *12 hrs is a little extreme on a daily basis but possible on a weekend.

    Hi,

    I don't think this is viable because we don't want to create a gap between streamers vs. regular players.

    Plus, if people start streaming for NX, it will be filled with low quality streams and those who actually stream for their own goal/joy won't be properly recognized.

    That's my personal opinion and is not representative of other staffs' thoughts.

    I agree with PrecelPrecel

    Looking at OSM, which is likely where you got the idea from. Yeah, this is good for 'PR' reasons since more streams equal more people seeing us on Twitch. But the downside is just that the stream average quality will just lower a lot because a lot of people will start to stream on the most basic setup with no voice + cam and get their cash, and don't even answer chat if there are potential new users asking questions, which is bad.

    Furthermore, those really tired of getting Private Servers tossed into their throats will slowly get tired of seeing so many streams.

    There's maybe rewards I consider for steamers (right now we log how many minutes a streamer has streamed on our server, since the very beginning) but I don't think I want give a static reward such as this, because it will be abused or just bombed with extremely low-quality streams, overwriting those that try and care a lot.
