Notice We are looking for additional staff members!

Hello Maplers,

With the unexpected increase of users, the work of our lovely staff members has increased as well. As usual, we try our best to be able to assist everyone as soon as possible as quickly as possible.

We have a very tight and strong team, but we'd like some new helpful hands to help us push through the increased workload

We have currently the following open positions (refer to here for the task of each role)

Game Assistant

We are currently looking to fill 1 slot for our team.

If additionally you also got free time available to spend, you can apply in the appropriate section and let us know. Please note we currently do not accept applications on people completely new to almost new to the server, since you got to have experience with our server and the community

Balance Team

We are currently for more members to add to our balance team. There are a lot of players out there that have in-depth knowledge of the game and/or have creative (yet feasible) ideas about how to balance the game (in its entirety, or specifically events). We want to tap into those minds, and what better way than joining the balance team!

Do note that this is an advisory role, and so balance team members will not handle staff tasks, and therefore will not have a staff character.

Graphics Designer

We are currently looking for additional designers on our team. We have fantastic artists out there, and we are actively looking for ones helping us with the following:

- General Designer

A general designer is someone that digitally design about anything. Example, event banners, promotional banners, and so on.

While we do not expect the most fantastic and professional designing out there, a good example is looking at the fantastic (event) banners our past wonderful artists have done, to have a general idea of what we are looking for.

The short version is that we look for designers that are able to replicate the banners the official servers had as well.

- Pixel Artist

A pixel artist is a designer that creates... well, pixelated graphics. These are designs that can be implemented into the game, such as custom NPC's, general graphics that need be fixed (ex: map graphics for the higher resolution), and so on.

For pixel artists, we are slightly more strict, simply because it's important that designs that happen to get in-game (ex: custom event NPC's) need to look very similar to other NPC's, so they do not look off in-game, which requires skills.

If you need nice examples the custom NPC in Amoria, Monique, which is the Style Saver npc created by Krauser94 is a nice created custom NPC.
