This is just a guide on how to do some of the quests in New Leaf City (NLC)

    Skiping the "Jump" Quest

Crimsonwood Mountain: Valley of Heroes 1 & 2

If you don't have the Mark of Heroism
    https://youtu.be/I2Inp75pBPk

While there is no actual “quest” you have to do, you can’t use any mobility spells or mounts to get past these maps and any speed/jump buffs you have/receive get negated upon entering the map, just like in an actual jump quest.

If you want to skip all the jumping in the video, you gotta do the following quests:

    The Brewing Storm (Pre-Req) (Lvl.70)
    - 10 Stormbreaker Badge (Drop from Stormbreaker)

Mark of Heroism (Need Pre-Req) (Lvl 70)
    - 10 Gold Ore
    - 4 Power Crystal Ore
    - 1 Typhon Feather (Drop from Typhon)

Lukan can be found in Phantom Forest: Phantom Road, here’s a video of how to easily get there (There are different 3 different Crossroads, don't randomly go into one thinking you'll get there)
    https://youtu.be/Jd0YDeP4ZDU

Both the Typhoon Feather and Stormbreaker Badge are untradeable, meaning you need to either kill the mob yourself or have a party member kill it.

You can find Stormbreakers (The places I recommend anyways) at Crimsoonwood Mountain: Lower Ascent or Crimsoonwood Mountain: Cavern of Pain

Stormbreakers are incredibly tanky and have huge hitboxes

Typhons can only be found in Crimsoonwood Mountain: The Path of Peril. You can kill the eggs or Baby Typhons for the feathers, if you can’t hit the Typhons or can’t find someone else to kill them for you (or if you’re just lazy)

Typhons aren’t hard to kill, but if they get their magic attack off, they knock you back super far, potentially off the map, where you’ll have to do the jump quest again. Thankfully, it’s only Crimsoonwood Mountain: Valley of Heroes 2, so the jumping won’t be that hard

When you get the Marker of Heroism, just press up on the statues, until you get to the portal, no moving necessary.

Buy Stuff, Trade Badges, Make/Upgrade Gear
If you wanted to buy Ciders, All-Cures, NLC scroll, and various other items, you can trade them with Mo.

The badges you get from Windraiders, Stormbreakers, Firebrands, and Nightshadows can be traded for fifty each with Joko.

You can also upgrade to a Raven’s item or craft the end game throwing star, Balanced Furies and crimson items with Fiona.

If you want to do all of the above, you gotta do some tedious questlines first

These 3 quests start and end with Taggrin in Phantom Forest: Dead Man’s Gorge

The Fallen Woods (Start) (Lvl 40)
    - 50 Phantom Seed (Drop from Phantom Tree)

This lets you trade with Mo
With lower graphics, it’s easier to tell if a tree is part of the map or an actual mob

    The Right Path (Pre-Req 1) (Lvl 70)
    - Map of Phantom Forest

This lets you trade with Joko
I explain how to get Map of Phantom Forest later
You keep the Map of Phantom Forest and lets you traverse the Forest with ease. Just press up on this structure

Here are the rewards for turning in the badges to Joko
    - 750k Mesos
    - Raven's Ninja Bandana
    - Raven's Eye
    - Silver Crow
    - Gross Jaeger
    - Marine Arund
    - Black Mamba
    - Claw ATT 60%
    - Bow ATT 60%

    -1.25mil Meso
    - Raven's Beak
    - Crushed Skull
    - Onyx Blade
    - Tao of Sight
    - 1-handed Sword ATT 60%
    - 1 Handed Blunt Weapon ATT 60%
    - Pole-Arm ATT 60%
    - Spear ATT 60%

    - 2.5mil Meso
    - Raven's Claw
    - Raven's Beak
    - Raven's Wing
    - Tao of Harmony
    - Tao of Shadows
    - One-Handed Sword ATT 10%
    - One-Handed Axe ATT 60%
    - Dagger ATT 60%

    - Raven Ninja Bandana
    - 1.75mil meso
    - Kage
    - Thorns
    - Tao of Sight
    - Tao of Shadows
    - Wand M.ATT 60%
    - Staff M.ATT 60%

    - 3.35mil
    The Fallen Warrior (Lvl 80)
    - 50 Elder Ashes (Drop from Elderwraith)

This lets you trade with Fiona

    Low Drop Rate

Phantom Forest: Evil Dead has the best Elderwraith spawn rate, though BigFoot and Headless Horseman can spawn there as well

After one or multiple quick attacks, goes into invincibility frames for a short second

Use Tao of Shadow to get the Night Raven’s Upgrade for the claw (the other Taos give upgrades to the claws that require DEX to wear, so almost junk for everybody)
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To Get Map of Phantom Forest

    Subani’s Legacy Questline (Discovery, Trangression, Deliverance) (Pre-Req 1) (Lvl 36, 38, 44)
    - Kill 50 Killa Bee
    - Kill 40 Fire Tusk
    - Kill 30 Mighty Maple Eater

    Then

    - 50 Hyper Glyph (Drop from Electrophant)

    Then

    - 50 MesoGear Maps Piece (Drop from I.AM.ROBOT)

All of Discovery can only be done in MesoGears: Deity Room as you can only find Fire Tusks there

Discovery gives you a Glove for ATT 60%

I recommend Masteria: Krakian Jungle Basin to collect the Hyper Glyph (Most Electrophants spawn there)

I.AM.ROBOT can only be found in Masteria: Mountain Slopes

All of these maps are a pain to clear

    Lost! Questline (Lost! , ReVersal) (Pre-Req 2) (Lvl 40)
    - 30 Elpam Magnets (Drop from Barnard Gray)

    Then

    - 60 Temporal Fragments (Drop from Tick-Tock)

You gotta go to Omega Sector to kill the Barnard Grays for the magnets, come back, turn in the quest, then go to Ludibrium (again) and kill Tick-Tocks for the Temporal Fragments, come back and turn in the quest. Quite tedious

    Finding Jack (Need Pre-Req 1+2) (Lvl 50)
    Go to John Barricade

Then go to Jack Barricade in Crimsonwood Keep: Cavern of Pain

    Lost in Translation (Lvl 70)

Talk to Jack again to get Coded Communique

    Go to John

Go to Elpam Gorlab to translate it

Go back to John, then Jack again

Go back to John to finish the quest and get Map of Phantom Forest
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Deputy Star
They all have the same name, different parts are accessible at different levels. They are all repeatable after a couple of days.
Completing each Bounty Hunter quest for the first time gives you a bunch of XP and mesos. After that, you get a lot less.

    (Lvl 40)
    - 30 Lucky Charm (Drop from Leperchaun [1] and Leperchaun [2])

Fairly low drop rate, but easy to kill and can easily mass farm with an aoe skill
    Also drops decent mesos

    (Lvl 70)
    - 30 Soiled Rag (Drop from Elderwraith)

    Very Low Drop Rate

Phantom Forest: Evil Dead has the best Elderwraith spawn rate, though BigFoot and Headless Horseman can spawn there as well

After one or multiple quick attacks, goes into invincibility frames for a short second

Auto Aggros first person to enter map

Better to just ask a 4th job or Lvl 100+ DPS character to farm them for you. Alternatively, you can buy it from FM

    (Lvl 75)
    - 1 Jack O’ Lantern (Drop from Headless Horseman)

You won’t kill this thing in a timely manner at that level. Ask a Lvl 100+ DPS character to clear it for you

    (Lvl 80)
    - 1 BigFoot’s Toe (Drop from BigFoot)

You won’t ever kill this thing in a timely manner at that level. Ask a 4th job (preferred if they can clear it within 35 min) to clear it for you

(Lvl 80 After Completing Final Part)
    - Completed each Bounty Hunter at least once
    You get the Deputy Star

Only 1 Deputy Star quest per character

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Don't rip me a new one plz.
