2020 Anniversary Mini Guide

Hello Maplers! With all the new and returning players to our 5th Anniversary event, we've decided to create a guide to help you navigate our biggest event ever. Go out there and have fun!



Legends Academy Spring Festival Event
Obtain Spring Festival Coins to exchange for tasty rewards, like a Heartpounding Box!

Spring Festival Mini-Events

Talk to Gaga in any major town to reach the Fairytale Land Entrance.

Hansel & Gretel
The cats have devised a plan to foil our Spring Festival! They plan to break into Legends Academy and bargain their way into with ultra candy. Plus, they have quirky ways to flip you around so try to stay vigilant and not fall down!
Objective: Kill Witch Cats with normal attacks to collect points (5 points per kill)
Entry Requirements: Solo
Daily Entries: Unlimited, one reward per day
Reward: 1 Heartpounding Box per 200 points

Geppetto's Escape

You have woken up in the Bang-Bang cat's hideout alongside Geppetto and need to help get him out. There are also treasure chests scattered about. The cats are asleep so try not to disturb them or they will launch you far! However you might be able to use this to your advantage to navigate chasms. Just make sure you time your jumps correctly!
Objective: One player gets transformed into Geppetto. This player will not be able to attack, but will automatically be able to avoid any obstacles in the jump quest. The other player may break open treasure chests for tokens and help get them for Geppetto.
Entry Requirements: Two players
Daily Entries: Once per day
Reward: 1 Heartpounding Box for 3 Story Treasure Chests

The Giant Beanstalk
You might find a Magic Bean from a MapleLegends 5th Anniversary Box! This magic bean will let you grow a giant beanstalk to try and loot as many gold eggs from the giant's pigs. Watch out though, the giant has recruited many bang-bang cats to keep his golden eggs safe. If they catch you, you will be kicked off of the beanstalk
Objective: Kill pigs for golden eggs, avoid being touched by the Bangbang Cats
Entry Requirements: Solo
Daily Entries: One per Magic Bean
Reward: 25 eggs = 1 Heartpounding Box; 50 eggs = 3 Heartpounding Boxes; 100 eggs = 7 Heartpounding Boxes

Rock Paper Scissors
Currently RPS causes crashes for some users; this is being investigated and will be fixed
As part of the Spring festivities, rock-paper-scissors is one of the popular mini-games in the academy. Talk to this NPC in the Henesys Game Zone to play Rock-Paper-Scissors against her! She will ask you to give her 1 RPS Coupon (obtained from 5th Anniversary Box) in order to play. Based on your win-streak you will receive a certificate, every certificate will award you with a fixed amount of Spring Festival Coins. Exchange your certificates to Oz.

You have to quit before losing to get a certificate of winning, unfortunately, the risk factor is something you have to take into consideration while playing Rock Paper Scissors.

Automated OX Quizzes
Every 6 hours there will be an announcement similar to that of a GM event. Once the announcement is active, you have 5 minutes to talk to the event NPC. Multiclienting in this map is disabled. Once the timer is up, the event will begin. You will have 30 seconds to answer the question that appears on the screen. They are all true or false questions. If you answer all of them correctly, you will be awarded 30 event coins.

The Lost Book

Help hunt monsters to retrieve this book to Laura!
Reward: 15 Spring Festival Coins, 5000 EXP, 1 Strawberry Jam Toast

Lost Musical Sheets
Help Timmy find his lost musical sheets around the Maple World!
Reward: 15 Spring Festival Coins, 5000 EXP, 1 Rice Puff

Birthday Party Crisis
Help Becky find a Birthday Cake and 15 Birthday Party from monsters in Ludibrium!
Reward: 20 Spring Festival Coins, 5000 EXP, 10 Candy.

Spring Festival Exchange

Currency: Spring Festival Coins
You can exchange your Spring Festival Coins to Oz for great prizes (NX, chairs, AP Resets, boxes, White/Chaos scrolls), located in Henesys Park!



MapleLegends 5th Anniversary Event
Obtain Shiny Coin to exchange for various rewards by doing Puff Daddy & Pink Bean quests!
Talk to Cassandra in any major town to go to Cake Town.

MapleLegends 5th Anniversary Box
This drops from all mobs in MapleLegends, and has a chance to give you items that will enable you to get items such as Magic Bean or Rock Paper Scissors Ticket (more info above). These do not drop Maple Weapon boxes; Maple Weapons can only be redeemed from the Maple Weapon Raffle from Vicky & Cookie (below).

Pink Bean PQ

Talk to Patty in Cake Town with a party of 2 ~ 3 members to start this PQ.
Here is a good guide on how to do the Anniversary Pink Bean Party Quest, the only difference is that once you've exited the PQ each party member will receive a random amount of Shiny Coins.

Puff Daddy

Collect Big Cream Puff ETC drops from any monster in the Maple World. You can donate your Big Cream Puffs to Patty in the Big Puff Daddy’s Plate map to help bake Puff Daddy. Once enough Big Cream Puffs have been collected, Big Puff Daddy will start to bake.
Talk to Vicky & Cookie to request to be sent to Big Puff Daddy’s Plate
Equip your Sweet Fork Cake to prepare to fight Puff Daddy!
Be sure to attack Big Puff Daddy enough to collect some Shiny Coins. The more you attack Big Puff Daddy, the more coins you get. You can talk to Vicky & Cookie to collect your coins and leave the map.

Anniversary Exchange

Currency: Shiny Coins
You can exchange Shiny Coins in Cake Town by talking to Vicky & Cookie for prizes like NX, hair/face coupons, and Maple Weapon raffles !


Maple Item Crafting (Levels 30+)
This anniversary, we are introducing a way for Maplers to upgrade and level up their Maple items with the help of Magic Crystals ! You can get Magic Crystals by exchanging it for 10 coins in the Anniversary exchange shop, and then upgrade at the NPC Cassandra.

There is a limit. Currently the amount of coins you get scales to how much you manage to hit Puff Daddy though (the more you manage to hit him with your fork, the more coins you get).
