About the Maple's Flags

Hi everyone's its me... again!!!! xDDDD

I want to know something that i was seeing in the last time...

Yesterday i was searching some items for my character and i found the item "Maple Flag"

This item comes (i think) in red and blue but...

-The Red One it says that gives +1 to each stat and it could be equipped to anyclass.

-The Blue One it says that is a "One Handed Sword" that do 1 atk dmg and gives much more stats...

My question is... Those flags are weapons or what are those?? i mean it can be equipped in some other place so i can have (at least) more stats or are a one handed wep that do 1 atk dmg?

Can someone please tell me about that?? Sorry but some things are very new to me despite the fact that 2 years ago i played for about 4 or 5 months xDDD
