Haven't we all used the comand @dpm or @epm and somewhere in the process you mess up having to wait for the comand to end? What if we had a command @stop to stop all measurement so you can retry your test?
I hsve tried to do @dpm 6 or 9 to test my average damage (transform and normal combined) or tested epm 3 or 6 to then mess up or stop due to real life things.

Let me know if Its possible or a good thing to have.

A @pause command will be okay too. Either way which is easier to implement.

Or both, It would give more options to stop for a bit and resume later or to reset

You can just enter cash shop or cc to reset the timer. Obviously it's not as convenient as having a @stop feature, but there are ways you can reset the timer if you screw up midway at the moment which you can use.

agree. Because as a bucc we have non transformed, transformed, and charged state and each has different duration, combo, and skill to use in order to move/rise overall dph. I encountered this many times as I test dpm 5 or 10 in dummies/actual bosses

I don't think it should be an actual command, just add in @epm 0 to reset it then try it again.

AFAIK @epm 0 will just tell you that "your epm is currently being recorded" - meaning you need to wait for the previous one to finish anyway

Just tested it. yeap. its because a previous session of epm recording is still running. you gotta wait till the previous one finishes. which was OPs point anyway.

To add, apparently epm 0 = epm 1. cause when i did it it says your epm is being recorded for 1 min...

    *visible confusion noises*

Most likely 1 min is the default value for when an incorrect number or value is used
