In the not too distant year of 4917, the year will start on a friday.

For the time being, we will be ending 2020 on a Thursday. It makes you think. will we still be remembered? and if yes, what life will we be remembered by?

We will all be lost - swallowed in the relentless force of entropy. Only those who make magnificent marks on history will be remembered, but they will only know what we did - not who we are. Our insignificance should be plain for us to see as the insignificance of those who lived here merely 400 years ago and only a hand full do we know by name - but we do not know what they were truly like. This should instill in all of us the necessity to cast of our narcissistic tendencies and work toward building a better tomorrow. Only that will make our lives have meaning...unless some super large asshole asteroid decides to wipe us all out - then it was truly for nothing.
