Hi

Been doing these updates in the morning (so the progress is of the previous day) which feels a little nicer than late at night . I don't think it matters much, as long as there is some form of 24 hour-ish interval.

Oh yeah so the number 5 and 6 keys on my hp pavilion laptop (as well as a bunch of the F keys and the - and my favorite, the tilde ~) don't work anymore for some reason. I googled a bunch and saw others having exactly this issue, but no clear solution. If anyone has tips, more than welcome

In game:
For some reason I don't have that many screenshots for today, probably because my F10 key (i'm using Fraps) works very sporadically, will see if I an assign the screenshot thingie somewhere else .

- played more quest story
- bought this cape for 200k, I probably want a dex/int one but it was cheap and a nice damage boost

- bought a maple knuckle for 1.5m, it's pretty bad but was the cheapest option. I wont be using it for that long anyway


Thats it, mostly I just quested so thats not too screenshot-worthy haha.

Really? I didn't do it to trigger people, just because it is a word and not a name, thus I dont see a reason to write it with a capital.

EDIT: Capitalization for proper nouns; For example: We don't capitalize the word "bridge" unless it starts a sentence, but we must capitalize Brooklyn Bridge because it is the name of a specific bridge.

It's however you want to interpret that, my name is Fairy but then the word fairy not in a sentence should not be capitalised. I prefer the way it looks like this.

So I've been in quarantine since yesterday, will probably have lots of time to play MapleLegends this week.

Pretty happy today, quarantine ended because of negative covid test result .

Grinded some paper lantern ghost/dark cloud fox, handed in the ETCs:



Grinded an hour or so at GS1
Landed a 10% on a clean rat mouth, sold it for 13m which I'm trying to cling on to for when I get to lvl 50 and will want a zhelm C:

Also I reached my base int goal of 180, so been adding STR for a couple levels and MP washed 8 levels (40 points) so far. I'll be trying to MP wash about 50 to 60 levels, hopefully I can get a couple more AP resets from the event .

Hope you are all doing well and staying safe!
This weekend I spent time with family so didn't play as much, but yesterday I made some good progess;

In game:

Grinded a bunch at paper lantern/dark cloud fox in mushroom shrine trying to make some moneys for a zhelm, traded in about 500 etcs but didn't get anything noteworthy. I think I forgot to screenshot a few but here's some:




I also grinded a bit at 'a desolate cemetery' but the nightghost are pretty difficult for me to kill (though I dont miss them).
Did find a dagger for att 30 and sold it!

Scrolled this awesome knuckle:

Dont have enough STR to wear it yet LOL

Grinded a bunch at ghostship 1 and 2 to finish off the day

Hi!

So yesterday I basically spent all my time farming farming farming and it wasn't even for the event! Having hit lvl 50 I wanted a zhelm but was super broke, so I went to the paper lantern ghost/big cloud fox map once again and farmed there for a long time. Eventually I also went to nightghosts (around lvl 52 ish) and farmed there.

Traded in a bunch of the ETC's from big cloud fox:


Didn't really get anything good, except for the shield m.att 30 from gach.

Eventually I did end up making 12m and buying zhelm service, which got me this helm:


Its not bad, not great. Anyway im just excited to have a zhelm!

get enough str to finally equip my knuckle (its 120 but 8 is from my current knuckle, so I can't wear it just yet)

Hi

So today was just me grinding at GS2 while watching netflix basically, was pretty chill

In game:

Got some pretty nice scrolls today

Otherwise I just did a ton of grinding at GS2, the zhelm is so major in that the mobs hit me for around 220 now instead of 340, which means I make a bit more cash while grinding.
I tried going to kid mannequins for a bit at 59 on an amorian basket, and althought the exp is quite a bit better, I just can't grind there yet without blowing so much money on potions. They hit be for about 1400 each time, which is just super expensive. The better exp is tempting but I think I'm better off holding off on going there for a couple more levels (maybe until I don't need amorian baskets anymore and have some cash saved to blow).

Also I finished 20 levels of MP washing but have now run out of NX :>

The range is on a coke pill (+15 att)

Next goals:
Get to lvl 70 and job advance
Get a good face accessory (preferably a mask with accuracy scrolled for dex)

Hi!

So I'm currently a little bit in between grinding places. Most of the time today I just spent grinding at GS2, but its really starting to slow down (max exp is 900k/hr). I did some more kid mannequin testing and got really nice exp (1.5m/hr) but it is so expensive for me to grind there, they hit me for around 1500 damage each time, meaning I use a full barbarian elixir and spend 1500 mesos/hit, which I just dont make back... If anyone has tips, please let me know

For some reason I lost the SS of the cloud fox etc hand ins, but only got crap (pots).
No scrolls dropped :C, was trying to make some mula for that mannies grind uwu.

Also, I noticed that I forgot to add in my new gear that I bought yesterday:

The clean cape was round 2.5m, figured it would help give me a little accuracy boost for mannequins. The earrings were around 7m .

Get an upgrade for my claw, but the only Maple Golden Claw (lvl 64 knuckle) in fm is 25m >.<

Hi

A major factor in losing motivation for a character seems to be the heavy HP washing I'm trying to do (mostly MP washing though) and running out of NX cash/an event to farm some AP resets. Not sure yet how I am going to overcome that, the options are either lowering my base hp goal significantly or trying to slow down on leveling by quite a chunk. We'll see .

So I've once again given away my items to a couple of newbie players (sorry no screenshots this time around, I didn't notice FRAPS wasnt loaded) and we are starting fresh on the journey to becoming a bowmaster.

Hi

Just did some basic questing, pretty excited about staff mentioning additional ways to gain NX/AP resets will become available!

In game:
No gachapon tickets
Someone was dropping stuff in FM which I picked up, then figured he was probably transferring the ores to his mule and quickly gave them back. He then gave me 3 overall dex 60 scrolls and a clean 2 att pink gaia cape, how nice! I sold the cape for 2m and decided to hang on to the scrolls for now .
Did some questing (job quests, nautilus quests and the kill 99 green mushies quests), couldn't find a Mano though.

Hi ~

So the progress once again went pretty quickly, mostly because I quickly got a clean slate scroll from gachapon and was able to buy some items. I also had pretty good scrolling luck!

In game
Questing, questing, questing (victoria island, ariant questline, ludi quests, aqua road/nautilus quests)
Got some gachapon tickets but I had some computer issues, lost the screenshots :c. The noteworthy thing I got was just a clean slate scroll 20% which I sold for 6.3m. I then went on and bought some items/scrolled some items .

Items:
- bought a clean maple soul searcher for 1m (55 attack)
- bought a 2 dex 5 slot (so two failed slots) purple sock for 300k, went and landed some 70%s on it .
- scrolled the raggedy cape I got from the kerning city quest


EDIT: forgot to mention I also hunted a bunch of Mano yesterday and sold the scrolls I got for money (got some earring/cape for int so that was nice C
I also bought the warm muffler (2m) and a bunch of overall dex 10 scrolls, but the 60s went horribly. Currently also have a 5 dex 9 slot robe to be scrolled soon .

Hi guys

So after deciding to go for a bowmaster, the old initial plan of making a marksman came lurking around the corner again. Anyway, made some more new players happy (I love giving away my items to new players, its fun ), though it wasn't that much yet.

Also, as requested by someone we are now capitalised.
Meet our new boi, on his long and windy road to becoming a marksman!


Maple island flew by so quickly, he's already started his path to becoming the sharpest eye in all the lands!


I think Athena Pierce is starting to suspect something, she was kinda side-eyeing me O_O

Side note: whoa! for some reason my computer's keyboard JUST started fully functioning again while writing this post. I was having some kind of weird issue where some of the keys (5, 6, ~, - and =) were not working and the backlight stopped working. I tried about every single solution the internet had to offer with no results, and randomly just now it resolved itself. Computers are weird sometimes.

Still very happy that my laptop's keyboard is actually just working again, *sigh* such comfort and relief ~

- did the job quests, first nautilus quests, mano quest and some more basic victoria island quests
- grinded for about 45 mins at HHG2 just trying to make some mesos
- got a shoes for jump 10% from orange mushies

- scrolled an okay-ish bow, failed about 20 or so crossbow for att 10%s LOL


Oh I also decided to splurge a little bit (much) on hair and eyes, it just makes my character look so much cuter <3 uwu. Anyway, I should be saving my NX for mp washing but... but... its so pretty C:.

Spoiler: ramble about archer classes

So I've been doubting myself again, honestly picking between the two archer classes is difficult to me because, as has been stated numerous times here on the forums by multiple people, there just isn't quite enough to differentiate between them. They both provide SE, are more support based and do okay DPM, with MM having blind and blizzard/frostprey which I like but getting outscaled later on by BM and their gorgeous, very fairy-like hurricane skill. If only bowmasters could have the pretty pastel blue birds, gosh. In a perfect world. As of now, still in doubt. We'll see. You never know what you're gonna get with this journal at this point, so I might have just spent hours remaking my character to still make a bowmaster. Anyway, end of ramble and sorry if I end up disappointing you FatSloth you are one of the cuties who have been supporting me kindly throughout this whole thing <3.
