    It may be helpful for you to join an active Guild and/or Alliance. I myself initially never knew some of these abbreviations until my fellow Alliance members helped me figure them out

    A good guild and alliance will have members who would be able to sort out those kind of questions for you (as well as other questions such as: Where can I level up at X level? How can I make mesos? How do I get leech? Etc. Etc.)

    To start you off:
    WS = Wolf Spider
    WR = WindRaider
    CD = Compact-Disk (which is commonly just called "CDs")
    All of these are popular monsters that players like to receive leech or train at for leveling. WS leech is given from levels 75 to 85. WR leech from levels 65 to 75, and CDs from 74 beyond? (not too sure about this particular lower and upper level limit tbh). CORRECTION: 68-75 as per post below (thanks Shivering!)

    Let me know if you need any more help! :)

    WS stands for wolf spiders. It’s a popular leech spot for 75-85.

    WR stands for windraiders. It’s a popular leech spot from 65-75.

    CDs references a mob in Taiwan called Greatest Oldies that look like CD disks. This is a popular training spot in early 3rd job as well as a popular leech spot from 68-75.

    Thanks all!!

    Very helpful answers.

    Eventually I will probably join a guild, but so far all I haven't seen any advertising that I have been interested in yet.
