New char, who dis? - yet another maple journal

Hi all, I'm Kingslime (aka Jafel) and I'll be journalling the progress of my mage here It will become an ice lightning mage with no real purpose yet. Just fun & timewasting. I won't fund it with anything, as I like to have the full experience!

Without further ado... the first entry into my journal:

I loved the look I had chosen and I like the symmetry of 5/5/x/5 stats, so I won't reset. Look at this hair, couldn't get more chad even if my peen was curled in such a way it wrote "chad" in cursive.

I kinda job advanced a bit late at lvl10, but I had to do all the Maple Island quests...

And this is where we ended up! lvl23 rn A true bro gifted me a red maple bandana. I forgot their name, but I remember that it started with a 5. I think they were a high lvl warrior frendbros all around! I got a bathrobe from someone as well. That's some neat speed.

Oh, and while playing I watched some She-Ra and the princesses of power on netflix, lovely cartoon really dig the vibe so far (episode 6??? ish).

Anddd I'll have another day off tomorrow so I might play a bit more and get to lvl30~ish.

I generally don't play that much, but I'll be active in the discord and forum

When I continued my leveling adventure, I managed to be part of a 6-man KPQ that lasted for about 10 PQs.


The only shoes I found were 2/2 str/dex and 0 int and luk. So I just had to keep KPQing for the perfectly average 1 allstat from doing 20 KPQ. (no screenshots of this)

After not getting any Gacha on my first day, I got 1 regular and 3 rare gacha on my second day. Pictured, a gacha during Job advancement:

I joined Funk! Really cool guild, I got invited by the homie Nightz777 hope it'll be somewhat active during EU times.

I did some more leveling after, but do not have much interesting to share yet

Other stuff:
Listened to a bunch of new sets/mixes, mostly techno but some italo disco and new wave as well.
My favorite more recent set: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaGY9r7Qxq0 it's new wave, emo, with some electronic in.

If you're interested in more I'll share some of my appreciated new sets in here. They'll mostly be 1 hour long so you could easily try it out

 

IHM usually puts up quite a set when I see him play. However I don't always enjoy listening to individual tracks in isolation. This track is an experience in itself tho But if we're going true techno I'd much rather listen to DVS1 or Dax J

 

Small update!

I continued the grind towards drip and clout for my Ice Lightining mage. I decided to transfer some INT gear over to make the most of my character, as I actually enjoy my I/L mage. Even though I've played for many years, I never actually made a mage aside from the odd cleric/priest.

In Ariant I managed to get a piece of Tigun's beard, making me as handsome as he is. And I dare say my beard is even more masculine than his.

After that, I got some more gacha which net me a 30% oa int scroll(!!!) which means I'm officially not-poor. Also, grinding at Ghost Ship is a chore but it's so fast that I just can't stop for now.



Next entry might have a not-so-surprise appearance.

Not much happened in between this entry and previous entry. I lost some socks because my dog loves stealing them from the bedroom and then ripping them... I might have to get new socks soon...

 

I've got:
8 int raccoon mask
6 int red emerald earrings
15 int robe
6 int gloves
1 int slime shoes
6 int 35 matt wand
2 int headband

+44 int total. Which is nice because I accidentally put my first 9 AP into improve MP regen instead of max MP

 

Heads up! I didn't forget you all! I bought some leech from a scroll I got from Gacha to get through the ghost ship levels faster (hate em so much) and to get to lvl70 asap (58 atm) but the leecher has left me! waiting for them to return to finish the package (till 65).

Farming/screwing around: 3 shield for weapon attack 60s at Kunoichi/Chunin in 2 hours time total! Not bad (where's Shivering new journal at???)

Got some shit from gacha and decided to yolo (up in my shop ch3 fm13 for a measly 199k)


Andddd not unimportant, I bought a fame from Ainz and called him a noob (can't see in ss)

 

ulu1 has 52 mobs. Birb Genesis hits 6 mobs at once and has a 5 second cooldown. Would need 5 corsair if you let each corsair attack twice in the 10 second window or 9 corsair if you let each corsair attack once. Assuming you hit more than 42k dmg consistently with it.

Okay, I did some leeching and random grinding and got to lvl71!! (took some time because twice the person who leeched be dced and didnt get back until a few days later)

Job advancement at lvl71. I think I was a wizard already before, but okay.


Grinding at Vikerola rn. They hit really hard, but the experience is so good 4m+ eph at lvl71 (but was distracted by other things so didn't stay longer than 20 min). Also, I'm now 100% broke as I spent all mesos on leech and potions... But I'll be good for a bit until lvl75 I hope...


In the meantime I'm slowly farming/grinding on my Corsair (especially now with vote cash dropping).
