[Guide]: Crimsonwood Exchange Pre-Quests

Hello,

I was unable to locate a guide for this elsewhere in the forums so I apologize in advance if this is a duplicate guide. This guide is how to complete the pre-quests required to unlock the exchange NPC for the new Crimsonwood Exchange Rewards.

Spoiler: Easy Guide To Crimsonwood Keep

1. Take the portal on the right side of Haunted House.

2. Take the top portal on Phantom Forest: Bent Tree.

3. Take the right portal in Phantom Forest: Dead Man's Gorge. (Map with the bandits)

4. Take the portal that is all the way to the right in Phantom Forest: Twisted Path.

5. Go left 2 portals in Phantom Forest: Twisted Path. This should be the second to last on the left.

6. Take the left portal in Phantom Forest: Crossroads.

• 45 Stormbreaker Badges from Stormbreakers
• 45 Windraider Badges from Windraiders
• 45 Firebrand Badges from Firebrands
• 45 Nightshadow Badges from Nightshadows
• 45 Crimson Hearts from Crimson Guardians

Possible Rewards:

• White Scroll [Legendary]
• Balanced Fury [Rare]

Pre-Quests

Lv. 40+

- Talk to Elpam Gorlab in New Leaf City.
- Travel to Omega Sector.
- Obtain 30 Elpam Magnet from Barnard Gray in Kulan Field 1. Return to Elpam Gorlab.

Lv. 40+

- Talk to Elpam Gorlab in New Leaf City.
- Travel to Ludibrium.
- Obtain 60 Temporal Fragment from Tick-Tock in Whirlpool of Time. Return to Elpam Gorlab.

Lv. 36+

- Talk to John Barricade in Bigger Ben: Lobby.
- Go to the next map and kill the following:
50 Killa Bee
30 Mighty Maple Eater
40 Fire Tusk
- Return to John Barricade.

Lv. 38+

- Talk to John Barricade in Bigger Ben: Lobby.
- Hunt 50 Hyper Glyph from Electrophant in the Krakian Jungle Basin.
- Return to John Barricade.

Lv. 44+

- Talk to John Barricade in Bigger Ben: Lobby.
- Hunt for 50 MesoGear Map Piece from I.AM.ROBOT in Mountain Slopes.
- Return to John Barricade.

Lv. 50+

- Talk to John Barricade in Bigger Ben: Lobby.
- Talk to Jack in Crimsonwood Mountain: Cavern of Pain.

You must accept Lost In Translation 1 from Jack to receive the Phantom Map. You do not need to do the quest.

Spoiler: The Fallen Woods

Lv. 40+

- Talk to Taggrin in Phantom Forest: Dead Man's Gorge.
- Hunt 50 Phantom Seeds from Phantom Trees.

Spoiler: The Right Path

Lv. 70+

- Deliver the Map of Phantom Forest to Taggrin in Phantom Forest: Dead Man's Gorge.

 

Try refreshing if the images aren't loading.

I'm still verifying if those are needed or not, though they are good for QoL due to the amount of back and forth with Jack, plus you will want to complete them anyways most likely for farming these.

You only need to do the fallen woods for the shop with ciders.

 

The section for Finding Jack has been updated to provide the correct information. If anyone has any additional problems please let me know so I can look into them and correct :3~
