This was to be expected with sweeping changed.
Less money -> less people buy ws -> ws goes down

 

Ridiculous prices. I'm guessing a lot of people must be hoarding them as a payment method and skipping mesos completely.

Less mesos entering the game is not going to have an immediate effect.

if the USA didn’t print 50 trillion or whatnot for financial stimulus, would the economy be different as compared to if they printed half the amount?

Anyone assuming item prices will stay stable at current prices isnt taking into the effect of essentially crippling the ability to print money.

Leech, ws and cs prices are not going to change within a week of decreasing meso generation.

Everyone is jumping to conclusions for short term effects, looking at prices of WS/CS today, assuming leech prices today, whereas the change was evidently aimed towards the long term.

I mean....it's really hard to predict the price of an item when there's only ~25 on the market at any time. That's not even enough to finish a weapon. 1 person who could be using it for its intended purpose could singlehandedly shoot the price up....

 

ez fix just up the chance of ws/cs in gach. doesnt take a genius to fix this ez problem......

 

have you not considered maybe someone just bought out all the reasonably priced White Scrolls?

 

it's almost as if the people that actually buy white scrolls weren't affected by the recent nerfs *shocked pikachu face*

 

I sold my WS that I got from the event raffle (1st try btw) for 190m within 2 hours and I’m happy

 

Yeah, my favorite part about old school maplestory was grinding like it was a full-time job for 5 months for just your weapon. Very fun.

 

You all talk about earning mesos by selling leech. Now imagine earning mesos with a ranged attacker and trying to finish a weapon, while having way below average ws10 RNG. Can't imagine how that would feel... At my current rate, it takes me 600 hrs just to get 1 slot to pass.

 

I have a question... and plz someone answer it.
i remember playing the beta many many years ago, and there were prefect gear and only 10% scrolls. so is it really worth buying 10-20 white scrolls? i meant 25 perfect weapons and some 30% and mostly 10% SHOULD be cheaper and more manageable. or am i wrong?

 

i mean at some point it will be more profitable to yolo 7 30% scrolls on a weapon than buying white scrolls. plz someone correct me if i am wrong

 

Not only do you have to be EXTREMELY lucky, you have to have balls of steel, be super rich, and be incredible stupid to do so. So not many people check all these boxes.

 

That would really depend on the item availability and price. Imagine a perfect clean timeless weapon, would it be worth it to yolo it? Probably not.

When it comes to endgame gear, WS is the safe bet. The problem is that it takes a ridiculous amount of time to finish your gear with such high prices.

 

A closer comparision would be ws30 for a few more slots before moving onto ws10.

 

If the game catered to that then everyone would be an int-nl. you chose a less economical route, that's what you're going to get, the game doesn't have to cater to every niche playstyle
