Easy First-Char Journal - Low NX, Lightly-Washed White Knight

Day 32 & 33: More PPQ till level 62. Then I left off to do some EPM testing on straw dummies & GS2.

At lvl 62, GS2 seems pretty good for earning mesos.
Collected exactly 400 green essence, and gotten 800k worth of npcable equips.

Current Goals, don't really have one except for hitting 3rd job asap.

"What about your gloves? Are you not gonna get an attack glove?"
I decide to wait till 3rd job before getting a wa glove. Plus I don't even have enough to get a 6wa glove right now :'(

"What about OPQ glove?"
Sadly its hard for me to catch an OPQ party.

"Your progress have been slow recently, are you hoarding NX?"
School caught up, and I usually prefer to be on my Hero at most times, only coming on to my pally I feel I have nothing to do on my Hero.
Spending lesser time on maple now, but no, I'm not quitting and I'm planning to continue this journal until at least lvl 150.

I'm going to stop voting on NotHelpful for now, until I have more free time.

Also to add on, for this event, I won't be buying any AP resets. Considering the fact that I'm capable of voting now, it will be better to get all my resets from cash shop, for logging purposes.

 

Day 37, 38 & 39: I don't really know the exact number of days. But there's very little progress, gonna count them all under 3 days.
Grinded PPQ, got Lord Pirate Hat (II), went to golem forest for cards and exp, and joined a new guild, Outcasts

I've been thinking about gear for awhile.
Should I buy a cheap wa glove? Despite the current overpriced market?
Also for starting bossing gears, I think I will try to aim for the 1h sword route - 122-124wa Sparta (30-40m i think?) + 12wa shield (20-30m).
That combination should be of a reasonable price, and I should not have to depend on SI for a respectable DPM.
Not sure when I will get those items, but when I buy them, I'll have them test against the gears I have on my hero, so others may decide on how they want to itemize their gears.

 

based on current market, i think it is.

last year, i managed to snatch one 12wa ym for 45m when 65% exist. I think that is an under priced glove. Around the same time, my friend sold one 14wa glove for 200m.
Later somewhere around start of the year, based on memory, i think 12wa glove goes around for 60-70m.
But now, ive seem some 12wa a/wed for 120m, more than 2 times the price i have paid for.

I agree, however mesos is pretty tight rn for me hahah. Maybe more grindings at Forest of Golem will allow me to have more mesos. I'll consider to buy 6wa glove first, then 10wa glove in future for bossing

 

hmm yeah i agree. I juz threw assumptions around based on prices i see on the higher tier wa, instead of owling for the actual prices.
now that i think about it again, the 6-10 wa gloves shouldn't be too influenced compared to higher priced. I'll save up mesos and keep a look out, thanks

 

i was diagnosed with carpal tunnel syndrome afew weeks ago, hence the super low activity on this journal.

trying to slowly get back now, gainned about 20% exp in forest of golem.
dw about nx tho, i havent voted at all

 

Day 40, 41, 42: How many days has it been? I have no idea, just gonna assume its 3 days.

Did the quest from Nautilus, that requires to kill 100 stone golem and 100 dark golem (both separate quests), each giving me 20% exp per quest.
Left the Mixed Golem quest. Currently im 91% exp, pretty close to leveling.
Also, cleared Lupin, Dark Stone Golem and Mixed Golem monster cards.

Training in FoG got me alot of items to npc, currently my total savings is about 1.3m, and i still have 200+ honsters and grilled cheese.

Once I clear the mixed golem quest, I'll move to GS6 to get cards there. If the EXP and meso is good, may camp there until I'm ready for CDs/deep ludi, who knows?

Gears that I'm currently eyeing for:
- crappy scrolled 95-98wa rk, preferably under 5m
- 12wa shield
- 10wa glove.
- watever sparta I could afford when I hit lvl 90.

Decided to go 1h this time. If SI is not considered, i think Sparta + Shield do more dpm per meso compared to claymore. Also, 1h seems more fun imo, as I've experienced NT 1h on my hero D

The purpose of this journal is to start a pally with no NX, and uses very little washes.
Its in a way showing that, you don't have to vote alot to play.

Having a stash of NX while im playing will defeat the purpose of it hahah.

 

Day 43:
Did the mix golem quest and level up.
Was lucky with the drops today, had roughly 300k worth of npcable loots, now about 1.6m savings with still a huge stash of honster and grilled cheese.

Next quest will be to kill skeleton soldiers & officer near GPQ area. After completing this quest line (20% exp per quest is delicious imo), will probably go back to FoG for mesos again until lvl 70 I guess. Or head down to GS6 for cards.

Did some owling today for workgloves:
8wa = ~3m
10wa = ~15m

Was hoping to find a 6wa thats about 500k or so, but guess with the current scroll market, kinda impossible.
Gonna hit lvl 70 soon tho, so will probably need an RK or sth soon.

Current Goal:
- Gear goals are still very far fetched. But since I'm gonna hit lvl 70 soon, probably some accuracy shoe/hat scrolls to start mannies/CDs. Not sure price too, I'll prolly need to owl around.
- Pretty much just earn as much mesos as I can for now.
- Get 3rd job

 

Went for another check on my carpal tunnel stuffs today.
Seems like I'm still in early stage, but may still take months to recover, due nerves being involved.
Got some exercises to do, hopefully I'll see some short term benefit fast hahah.

Meanwhile, waiting for summer event. Excited for new NX to wear. Probably will get a pet now for auto-pot, instead of manually potting like I did with my Hero.

Day 44: Completed the 50 skeleton soldiers and officer quest, then went back to FoG for some extra grind, and hopefully equips for npc. Didn't epm but those two mobs seems okish for exp. Equip drop rate feels horrible tho (200 soldiers and 100 officers killed, only got a lvl 50 magician shoe)

Those icebox gonna be difficult to manage. Will probably have to keep transferring those potions out to my mule (and never coming back). I guess i'll open them on weekends only.
Also some good news: If I npc the equip loots I currently have, I'll probably have 2m in total savings.

Can't decide if I wanna stay on FoG or go back to GS2/5/6. Mesos are still super darn important so, definitely don't wanna miss them out during my grindings.

Day 45 & 46: Finally leveled up, 3 more levels to get my Fire Charge )
Should have about 2.6m after NPCing the equip loots I got here.

lvl 67: +1 BW Mastery, +2 BW Booster

Goals hasn't change: just save mesos, get 3rd job, and think about if I wanna buy an RK or go kid mannies to get a free doombringer.
Side note: I got a crap ton of elixir now so, i won't be going to repot when honster goes empty. I'll just eat elixir until I run out of them.
