Currently, if a party request expires/disappears, the party leader cannot re-add that person. This person must then leave and rejoin the map/channel to be sent a new request.

Super situational, but we were not able to add a member to a bossing party because we didn't realize they weren't in the party before going into the boss map - the person hadn't accepted the party request and it had expired. The party had to be disbanded and remade in order to include this person.

This would be a small quality of life change added to the @dispose command. If there is already an easier solution to this (without having to cc/leave map or recreate party), then please disregard this.

Not 100% sure on this, but I think going to cash shop works. You can try doing that but also, there are maps that don't allow you to go to CS.

Recently did a @gm on a similar bug, and was clarifying whether we are supposed to not be able to resend a party invitte after a party request expires. Was greeted with a reply that says something along the lines of "it's players responsibility not to AFK, and thus your fault". Looking for an official work-about from staff, especially in instances were we cannot remake party e.g. expedition leader.

I mean that defeats the purpose. The point is that we should be able to re-invite someone to the party if they're the ones allowing us to resend another invitation by @dispose-ing themselves. I'm guessing the reason for the restriction is to restrict spam invitations, but toggling party invite on/off doesn't seem to reset this either.

We just got screwed over by this in cwkpq. Leader was a NL and the person who's party request expired was the SE.

We couldn't remake the party as that would kick us all out so the NL ended up having to be in a party by himself and had to gelt and apple their way through.

Forgot to add - it seems like changing maps doesn't alleviate the issue as our party member had the request expire in the previous map. Upon entering the other map, we still could not add him to the party, which proved to be quite troublesome for experience splitting (lvl 200). We submitted an @gm but nobody responded.

Another option could be to just remove the limitation of sending multiple party requests to match the time it takes for the icon to disappear. This would mean a player would only have one active request at a time, and if it expires, could receive another request.

Thanks for bumping this! I initially thought this was a packed we didn't handle yet, but turns out I was wrong. This is in fact a v0.62 client bug, which got fixed in later versions. The bug is that v0.62 does not send a 'signal' properly when the timeout has reached, meaning the server does think the person has a request open still when it already is supposed to timeout.

Fortunately, PastaPasta is a wizard as previously established and has this fixed for next PATCH.

Does the same thing happen to buddy requests/guild invites?
