Also sad we have no DK votes for worst class, Hero busy stealing all the pepecleave votes because HB is semi-relevant still

 

Dk and shadower are at least more noob-friendly and will always have some utility.

Paladin while a little underwhelming at least has its own niches as well and has HH.

can’t really think of many points in the game where I’d rather be a hero vs any other class tho lol

 

hero is bad only if you use sword.
axe hero is possibly the best class in maplestory pre bigbang and even post bigbang it remained as one of the top dps classes in the game.

 

If only we had old HT where it wasn't a pre-head to three-head snooze fest, the rankings would look quite different.

 

To be fair, 25.3% of the vote in the public forum poll goes to paly and shad, which were among the next top picks for worst classes in the endgame community survey, so I'm not sure if it's entirely accurate to say that heroes are seen more positively amongst mid game players as much as there is simply a bit of contention regarding the exact ordering of the bottom 3. Another 12.1% of the vote in the public forum poll is also from trolls/clowns who voted for sair/BM/MM/NL, which dilutes the poll.

If anything, what is perhaps more curious is that there are no votes in the public forum poll for DK, whereas it is the second most popular choice among the bottom 3 in the endgame community survey, which may indicate a more positive reception towards DKs amongst mid game players, which seems to make sense given that more mid game players than end game players likely depend on HB, and that end game players may be looking at the bigger picture in which general necessity of HB continues to wane over time as the community becomes more and more washed, which would of course render DKs to be little more than budget heroes.

 

Who you calling a troll vote? NL is the worst class for the health of this game's bossing prospects, and is the proper answer on this survey.

Hero just has more hope to design content to give it a niche for than NL has to find any relevant content it would suffer in.

 

I think this thread does a great job at showing the gap between endgame players and the rest of the server :^)

Not in terms of "Boohoo endgame players are elitists" but there is clearly a separation on the way classes and the meta are viewed.
This isn't surprising, given that one group considers PB a regular occurrence and practically peak important, and the other group considers it either out of reach or 'just another boss', leading to more appreciation towards hero's strength in lower tiers of bossing.

it has one now but in all honesty, imagine playing a class and not being able to max all your skills at lvl200. its an incomplete class, def sux

 

the wrost class is the one you dont know how to play, because if you don't like you don't do it great.
