A year ago when I saw the staff barely doing anything, and when something is done is so tuned down that is as if nothing has changed. I get this game is grindy as fuck and always been like that but devolving all into just farm with mages is a bit too much, this also makes me not too positive about new content like NT part 2, content that will be dead on arival unless NT gets something beside coin farming (NT and bossing coins). NT rework aside I do get that GMs have a huge aversion to anything that can be remotely good but tickling problems is not the best way to tackle this issue, I've been waiting for over a year for a small improvement to barely get anything. What I suggest is more drastic changes but with quick adjustments: We add boss coins too op drop rates? We nerf it within a couple of weeks, too shitty? We buff it, the issues with the coin system were clear within a couple of weeks and yet we had to wait for months to even being able to have a saying, and is just a drop rate change that don't need coding at all as far as I know.
Now my last thought: speak to your community, as is it right now is like speaking to a wall: you can speak and hear those who are on your side of the wall easily (Users) but you can only Hope that someone on the other side (GMs) is listening and perhaps replies something. I'm always up to debate and I would even invite people to directly speak to me but every time I make a post is just me + other users, if a reply comes once in a blue moon it just a remark or a comment that if you reply it won't get a comeback.
I digess, to concluye: even tho I've been just throwing shit to the management of the server lately is out of frustration that I've been experiencing for a long time while playing, I won't quit tho Ill be here until the server dies so I hope it does well and I think all can be fixed with some communication and custom content, the server is one of the best private servers that ever existed, it just need a little care I'll end this reply on this positive note, peace!

Sure, I'll take you up on that. When did I realise we might be doomed?

- When GM's stopped interacting with the community
- When GM events and meeting staff ingame are a fantasy of the past- even GM buffs are a stark rarity
- When suggestion threads that have massive support are just ignored entirely
- When new content gets added only to be dead and broken and just left that way (MPQ for ex)

- When leeching became a fixed meta, non-negotiable
- When making many characters only as mules is considered a must have
- When there's nothing for a new player to encounter when (and if even) they join
- When FM became overrun with nonstop mindless gambling because apparently it's not only allowed but fully supported...

I mean, why is it any surprise RWT is so high these days when all it takes is a lucky roll to get you instantly rich ingame? It seems so obvious to me that when you let people gamble they'd try to take it further and bring in real money. hiss AT LEAST keep that shit out of fm.



Some of these things have been around or at least been budding even as far back as when I joined.
It's not that I'm gong to quit, I still have a few quests to do anyway. But the point is that the server has been neglected and now just feels stale...
This isn't to point any fingers. I get it. Big waves of players, and the sever has been around for long enough that it gets tiring to constantly pamper and be involved. Staff team constantly changing around. But I definitely think lots can be done to keep it from just becoming a stale shell of the server that I fell in love with when I joined.

However, I have accepted that I'm gonna be super broke and weak, and will mainly use the game socially since I don't want to make mages and farm for hours.

 

3 months ago I was 1b away from buying a 11wa cape.
So I knuckle down and ran 3 man cwk almost 5 days a week, throw in additional 1-2 HT runs in the weekend.

And today, I am proud to announce that i am still 1b away from buying a 11wa cape.

Jokes aside, the lack of a roadmap makes things a bit frustrating. We don't know what staff is prioritizing, and we don't know what staff thinks they need to prioritize, so when things are released, there's usually a lot left to be desired.

With the addition of understaffing and thus a slower rate of progress in implementation of changes, these problems seem to be compounding.
