Gender Restrict

You've asked this numerous times in the past and Kimberly replied that it isn't possible, it feels bad to not be able to crossdress being the file load or other reasons.. but spamming it isn't going to help either its the same with hp washing threads.

The idea is nice, but until now I saw no server (v62) which did this. So It's not possible.

But for the Brazil server, do remember if they had APQ there?

Servers that I've played that had unlocked gender outfit/hair/eyes didn't have an APQ.

 

For the nx portion, a change in gender locked clothes could be well within grasp of client changes capabilities and would fit the bill. As for female sauna/oa, could then change sauna quests into repeatable (weekly or so).

 

Anything is possible with a big enough nerd on the job (in terms of software behavior)

I would suggest making any mob that drops one equipment drops the equivalent in female and vice-versa. Slimy drops the red male thief top lv80, add the female to the drop list. This is just on the top of my head, I don't know how this would affect the balance of the game, perhaps this would make a bit harder to get male equips at the cost of getting more female ones but since this game is all about farming it should be ok.

 

I feel like this would make a limited selection of mobs even more popular, thus reducing the variation people have in grinding spots even further. Whereas currently, some mobs might have the advantage that they are the only source of certain male/female equips, this advantage would be taken away if every equip drop gets paired with its counterpart.

 

Making maps where no one goes more just a tad more populated by inconveniencing people doesn't sound that good, altho I like making most maps viable and increasing variety this is not the way to do it. I mean true diversity in this game will most likely never come and those who need rarer equips either will pay more mesos for the piece, a piece that will most likely blow up at least 10 times, or halt their progress to farm on suboptimal maps that people don't go to unless they are card farming while the male counterparts can just get a piece for very cheap on the market from people that are just grinding.
To make less popular maps better they need teleporters around for better traversing and more spawn.

 

You make it sound as if I'm the one suggesting changes. I'm saying this is the current standard and your change would push it further away from a varied path to 200.
A way in which your suggestion would make a lot more sense (in my humblest of opinions) would be adding more female equip sets to uncommonly used mobs. It solves both the (supposed) rarity of female equips + perhaps makes other spots relevant/viable.
