This is one of the funniest things I've ever read

 

HP washing is literally a part of old MapleStory though, nothing about that changed for these old versions.

People who want it removed might just be better off playing a more modern client then, tbh. It's a silly thing to argue about.

 

Im not talking about HP washing. Im talking about a serverwipe. A game is not meant to be stuck on the same stage for over 7 years.

 

Why would anyone keep playing if their progress would just be erased before the server has announced that it's closing? Sounds like a massive waste of time to me.

The private server has stayed on v62 because that's what a majority of the players, and especially the owner, want to maintain. There are other servers you can join if you don't like the direction this particular one is heading. Your voice is important but it is not more important than the majority, vocal or not.

 

Okay? Fair enough, still it's the owner's server. If they end up deciding to wipe it then just start over again, relive the experience. You can't be so hung up on current achievements, there's so much more to that if they want to wipe and upgrade the game for the better.

Personally I'd rather them wipe it and add in more content than leave the game stagnant for years to come.
