Quick guide to the Valentine's Day event

This is a quick summary of how to do the Valentine's Day event quests. This info is sourced from the original event thread, info said by GMs in game, and from my own knowledge from last year's event. If there are any mistakes or anything I should add, feel free to let me know.

The event runs from Feb 19 to March 19 11:59 PM Server Time.

Note that AP resets are not obtainable in this event.

Quests

Chocolate Baskets for All! (Level 30+)

Spoiler: Picture of Ace of Hearts in Henesys

NPC: Ace of Hearts
Location: Southperry, Henesys, and Ludibrium

Required: 1 White Chocolate, 1 Dark Chocolate, 1 Gold Ribbon, 1 Heart Box. These are ETC items that drop from any mob provided you have the quest active. They're tradeable, so you can buy them in the FM.

Reward: 1 Chocolate Basket, 2 Sweet Valentine's Day Chocolate. The basket gives GM buffs for 1 hour and the chocolates are used for exchanges and raffles.

IMPORTANT NOTE: this quest is not available for people who have done it in previous years, however this will be fixed soon (current as of Feb 20 6:30 PM ST)

Spoiler: How to get to Mom and Dad

Go up this rope in HHG2

NPC: Mom and Dad
Location: hidden portal in HHG2 at the top of the pink rope

Required: 1 Yellow Valentine Rose, 1 Red Valentine Rose, 1 Blue Valentine Rose, 1 White Valentine Rose. Check the library or the list below to see which mobs drop what. They're not too hard farm, so I wouldn't bother buying them right now unless you have money to spare. The FM price will be very high at the beginning of the event and drop a lot after a week or two.

Reward: Ring of Passion that expires Nov 21, 2021 and 10 Sweet Valentine's Day Chocolates.

Romeo and Juliet Need Your Help! (Level 50+)
NPCs: Juliet, Romeo, and Maed
Location: Magatia
All required items: 4 Love Tickets (quest item), 2 Dark Chocolates, 2 White Chocolates
Rewards: Half-Heart Chocolate Chair, Red Round Chair, and Amorian Loveseat. The Red Round Chair and Amorian Loveseat are tradeable.

Guide:
1. On the right side of Magatia, go inside the Alcando Society building, then go into this hidden portal to talk to Juliet

2. On the left side Magatia, go inside the Zenumist Society building, then go into this hidden portal to talk to Romeo.

3. Romeo will ask you for 1 Love Ticket. You can get it from any mob, regardless of level.

I recommend farming Roids at Lab Area C-1: it's nearby, has high spawns, and has a flat layout that makes it easy to farm. It took me 20 min to get it on a 4th job f/p, but this was probably just shitty RNG. My next Love Ticket took me 2 min, the next took 10 min, and the last one took 5 min.

4. Turn in the Love Ticket to Maed at the Alcadno Society. He'll give you a Half-Heart Chocolate Chair in exchange for your snitching.

5. Go tell Romeo you lost his Love Ticket, and blame it on Maed. He'll ask you to farm another one.

6. Turn in the Love Ticket to Juliet. She'll give you a Red Round Chair as a reward, then ask you for TWO Love Tickets (not 1), plus 2 White Chocolates and 2 Dark Chocolates.

7. Go to Juliet and give her the stuff. She'll call you "sweetheart" then ask you to bring a chocolate basket (quest item) to Romeo.

8. Give the basket to Romeo, and he'll give you an Amorian Loveseat.

The end! Aren't plays great?

thanks for the info! You should be able to, but I’m not 100% sure. I did farm 2 extra love tickets after I got the last 2 for Juliet, so I think you should be able to.

 

Yes, you have to be level 70 to do the raffle. You should be able to exchange the chocolates with Fairy of Love though, since that's 30+.

It's not guaranteed that the sweet valentine's day chocolates will be used again next year. Personally, I wouldn't bank on it, so I recommend that you exchange them.
