How long does it take for a name to expire?

    How long does it take for a name to expire? I'm eyeing a name of an inactive player but I'm not sure how long it will take for it to expire so I can claim it.

    They don't expire.
    Old accounts - Maybe the player will return in the future.
    Banned accounts - Maybe he will create a ban appeal and will be unbanned.

    Neckson on the other hand had "events" where they delete X time unused characters below Y level. But don't think we had something like this or will have (I guess).

    There's a feature where you can take someone's expired name for donor points. Names should have an expiration time.

    The character needs to be under Level 30 and not have logged in for a year or something along those lines. You should be able to check the eligibility of a taken name when you try the changeign feature in-game.

    Oh dang, they're level 36 unfortunately. I was wondering why it wasn't available after 3 years of not playing. Thanks for the info.
