Questing only adventure

Currently locked down in Shanghai, China for 60 days (and counting) thus far. I have made a unfunded Bandit whom I will level only via quests. To date, I have done 129 quests in total.

Highlights/Notes

• Passed 3/4 60% and 1/1 70% GFA on a work glove for 8ATT glove! Big damage increase for a nub.
• Sold off 2 scrolls for 12M revenue
• Decided to do card hunting when permitted (If I find 3 cards of a single monster during my questing, will take time out to finish it up, it'll keep things fresh switching from questing to grinding)

Next up: continue polishing off Victoria Island Quests (bbb.hiddenstreet.net is a great resource)

You're absolutely correct. Whatever point I end up at is the point I end up at. I'm not worrying too much of it. The goal isn't to 100% finish quests (although it would be nice). It's just to enjoy the Maple Legends journey a different way.

Highlights/Notes

• Florina Beach, Orbis Quests pretty much finished.
• I spent 1 hourish at Fire Boars to find my glass shoe (and only 1 card dropped, sadge).
• Finished the GM event and only got 50 power elixirs... no comment
• Used GM buff to begin to collect Cursed Dolls, I believe I need 2000ish.
• Gached 20 tix and got nothing of value.
• Learned @checkstats, handy!
• So far so good, enjoying not taking this game to its maximum efficiency, just doing what I feel like doing.
• Oh, I'm refusing to buy anything from FM to complete quests, I will take help from my guild mates though. One member walked through nepeandeath, hit one and got a honey. He gave it to me, thanks!!

Goals tomorrow: I need 20 pig heads to finish a quest so I think I'll hunt for those while finishing up those cards. Continuing to finish Vic Island quests, there's a lot of stupid ones...

 

If you're the one selling pigs head for 50K a pop, please do feel attacked.

• Spent the morning doing Shumi and John's jump quests
• Fought pig's to find pig head's and damn pig card
• Boomed the Icarus cape I just got with a 30% cape dex
• Managed to make a +12 dex sauna robe, decent?
• Currently doing Rowen's cursed dolls quest, 2.3K total dolls needed
• Gutted that my guildies level SO much faster than me. Only 1 today.

The grind continues tomorrow! More cursed dolls. Need to figure what to upgrade next. I have 8MIL set aside for Zak helm courtesy of my guild... not sure what to put resources in next.

• Finished 2.3K cursed dolls quest! Barely gained any EXP.
• Started to EPQ purely for the Glittering Altaire Earrings. I'm going to consider this "questing" since there's a reward at the end. Probably only for this PQ.
• I met someone who was the same level as me with 160 more quests than me. Ego crushed.
• Finished Zak pre-quests so hoping to get my helm tomorrow so I can wear my Shinkita!

Goals tomorrow: Finish Ellin quest line and get my ZAK HELM!!!

• I've been doing EPQ in order to receive the glittering altaire earrings. Decided not to kill myself for my sanity so I can progress somewhat quickly.
• Did a few showa town quests/ninja castle quests
• Still awaiting AFK Zak helm T_T

• Finally got my Glittering Altaire Earrings!!! Not sure whether to scroll for dex or luk.
• Finally got my Zakum Helm!! I dropped a 17/13/16/17 for a 15/15/16/13, sadge... Don't gamble kids
• Guildie graciously lent me some items so now I'm POWERED up.

Goals: Continue to grind quests. I decided to finish up all Zingapu(?) related quests in Ninja/Showa ETC. I hope I don't level too much and become disqualified to do other quests O_O

• Almost finished with all showa town/Zignapu quests
• Sold some scrolls for $$$$
• Enjoying the grinding of quests, makes the game less stale.
• I tend to do quests randomly when I arrive in a town. Did a few in ludi and Omega sector
• Got Ellin Ring! WOO!
• Lockdown supposedly will end June 1st in Shanghai, who knows? I'd need a constant 48 PCR test just to move around so... Mapling future continues?

Goals: Finish Zinpangu quests and move on to... Thailand?
