There are a couple of techniques like grabbing i-frames from lower floor mobs before teleporting upwards and knowing which steps to jump/teleport onto so you don't get stuck on vulnerable jumps. Considering this game is a platformer, being able to navigate around the map well in addition to the know-how is a core part of the game. Making it easier isn't the solution.

 

Right, because you can't get your way with making a fairly easy climb up a specific map even easier, you'd rather remove an entire function. Good suggestion
