    Hello everyone reading this,

I'm having a hard time with the constant bow slapping on mobs.

Is there a training spot y'all can possibly recommend?

(I'm currently a NEW and UNFUNDED player)

Thank you for taking the time to read my help!

(update): I completely forgot to mention that I am a Bowman! Sorry :c

Hey there! Level 86 ranger here that's part of the Osslock challenge. Here's my level 50-70 level locations to give an idea, but I mainly OPQ'ed to level. If you're able to find consistent parties, It's a very nice spot to spend your time. I also recommend doing the quests in KFT as some of them give nice exp bonuses, especially the Library Book turn in quests.

[update] As for training locations, Mysterious path 3 could be good spot (or anywhere in the ghost ship for that matter), Windraiders (might be a bit too much if you go early unfunded, but can give it a shot), Straw Target Dummies in Mu Lung.

I heavily recommend investing points into the skill Power Knockback, it will make training significantly easier.

Also just remembered, the questline at The Nautilus for eliminating monsters gives a solid chunk of EXP. You can begin these quests after completing the pre-quest, The Half-Written letter. To Begin the pre-quest, interact with the trashcan near Muirhat in the The Nautilus | Top Floor - Hallway. If i remember correctly as well, the Straw Target Dummy kill quests in Mu Lung should also provide a decent chunk of EXP.

In addition to those quests from Muirhat, a lot of the content in 2nd job also has a bunch of story driven quests in the other continents. Magatia had loads of them, and I remember doing quite a bit of those in 2nd job. The Roids map is also quite decent to train on as well since it is linear. I'm not sure if you're Bowman or Crossbowman but either should work well in those maps. I think though it caps out at level 80ish or so but I don't remember. A lot of back and forths from Orbis with Alcaster's ancient tome quest, the infuriating Alphonse Green's Nependeath juice quest, some from Sleepywood Dungeons, some Victoria Island quests, Ellins Forest questline (including the Ellin Ring quest), Korean Folk Town storybooks quests that go up to level 70, a few from Mu Lung and some back and forths with Ludibrium should get you up quite a bit to the 60s or so. The final stretch in the 60s to 70s are a bit difficult though and were often called hell levels in the old Maplestory (50-80 was iirc), so you may have to grind out a bit after you do those quests, but do these because ML gives you 3x quest experience and it's been helpful.

I second this. While zombie lupins are not optimal exp after ,55.. the mesos yield from this are absolutely great for a new players. I've sold the dolls before at upto 1k each. They are used for a chain quest.
As a bowman with arrow bomb you rarely ever take dmg and stand on two platforms. Only taking dmg when looting your drops
