Fixed The first hit after Coma Or Panic will not trigger Combo Attack

This actually only occurs if panic/coma is used while charges are less than 5.

I believe this isn't a bug, but a way by nexawn to ensure that the most efficient use of panic/coma is to wait until 5 charges are built up.

I believe it is a safeguard against using panic/coma every other attack, for if you could charge orbs right after using panic with only 1 orb built up you could effectively power strike - > panic - > power strike - > panic.

Try using panic/coma only when full orbs are charged, and see of the problem persists.

EDIT: That being said, after doing the math for panic at least, even if combo orbs were able to be charged immediately after using panic/coma while orbs are not fully charged, waiting until 5+ orbs to use panic would still yield optimal dps. Though it is important to note that incorporating this change would close the DPS gap considerably between using panic whilst at 4 orbs vs using panic whilst at 5 orbs.

 

The skill has been known to be bugged for a while without knowing exactly why it seems. Luckily it only happens if orbs hit 0 (or probably lower as well), so it is "fixed" for panic in 4th job as you shouldnt be draining all orbs. Coma will still consume all orbs, however, so it is always prone to this issue if you wish to hit 6 mobs. As the damage boost from no orbs to even a single orb is actually quite large (especially after ACA), it makes consuming orbs feel even worse for panic/coma 3rd job and coma 3rd job.

 

Yep I definitely noticed this on my Hero

It happens very frequently but I haven't nailed down the exact steps to reproduce it. IIRC it can happen even if you're not doing anything out of the ordinary such as attacking midair or proc'ing FA, and it occurs like 50% of the time.

It only happens if you consume all your combo orbs (doesn't matter how many you had beforehand), and it can happen even if you're using Brandish
