If I hate being social should I even be playing?

Don't worry about the mapletip, different people enjoy the game in different ways. Personally I've really enjoyed this game without being social much, when I have a goal I'm working towards I just find solo grinding really satisfying and relaxing.
But if you're not getting enjoyment out of it anymore, feel free to spend your time on other things, or you could always take a break from the game and see if you feel the desire to come back and play again

 

In some part of you jorney u will need get party to do boss, but not necessary need be so social

 

Yep there's a ton of different ways to play, I'm sure the lvl 87 Islander spent a lot of time solo grinding.

As far as social content goes, when in doubt, just press F2 or F3

 

I have almost never interacted with people ingame in my 7 years here, doing just fine and dandy

 

Wish there was a bar or gym in game where we can socialise...

You do you! There's no need to be social if you don't enjoy it.

If you're having fun, that's all that matters.

It's a multiplayer game, but I've found that a significant amount of end-game is just chilling by yourself and grinding monsters. Don't feel like you're missing out on anything.

I don't talk to anyone in-game, joined because of a friend and barely talk to him/play with him. I'm also a solo player as to why I love quests.. because i don't NEED anyone else to do them

 

I’ve only solo’d since I’ve started playing.

Except… when i needed to buy Boss Drops or do Guild events.


The funnest part of ML is just zoning out and meditating, while looking at the flashes on the screen… for me anyways lol
