Do you visit maps and think to yourself "something could be here"?

This object can be found at the top right in Tent of the Entertainers.

 

For myself, I thought if I pressed up there, it could take me somewhere, say to a JQ, PQ or a circus-related event.

 

That's exactly right. MapleStory has tons of objects sitting around that could encourage for that.

 

This is where Ludibrium Maze Party Quest is. But I don't get how this elevator shaft connects with the party quest itself.

 

I agree with you that Ludibrium is a bit weird. The elevator shaft is just one example.

If I remember clearly, the concept of Eos, Helios, and Selene are referenced in Greek mythology, hence the Greek letters on the signs.

Before LPQ was introduced, Eos Tower had 100 floors. If I'm not mistaken, the Greek letters on the sign at Eos Tower do reflect that idea. So I was surprised to learn that Eos Tower needed to have one more floor, because now the sign (to me) doesn't make any sense.

For argument sake, I assume the "Abandoned Tower" (LPQ) to be Serene — and so I would move it either close to town (or to the town itself).

 

Land of Wild Boar

I used to think there was a third portal here.

 

I've always wanted to know if there was anything inside the Chinese food restaurant and Pawnshop at Kerning City.




If there was a map here, maybe it could be connected with this object?



Similarly, at the Thieves' Hideout:



I remember in GMS there were always NPCs of characters who achieved Level 200 on the rankings. (But I never liked seeing them anyway.)

 

In v62, you can stand on this platform. You can find it underneath Ellinia Department Store (the potion shop).

There are many of these same platforms in the town, too.

Sleepy Dungeon V



In this map, there's a portal at the top at the flower that takes you to The forest of golem (FOG). (There's also a Door of Dimension but that's not for everyone — it's used in third job advancement.)

FOG was added very early on to Sleepywood, but was not immediately available at release at GMS Beta.

In the map before it, Sleepy Dungeon IV, there is a mini dungeon. I just think entrance to the mini dungeon fits better here than it does there.

 

I actually have! I wish there was a way to visit the Cafe, even when it's not an event period. The graphics and the use of the Computer is fitting.

I've also read here that Internet Cafe wasn't played on as much during the event when it was made available. I think the Internet Cafe would benefit from considering suggestions of unused maps for content.

 

3-Way Road-Split




These bird houses are pretty. It would be even better if you could click on it to retrieve a message or an item.

Personal opinion, 3-Way Road-Split could also benefit from having in-map teleporters.

 

Mushroom Forest



I used to think I could enter a map here to a place with Tanuki (Fire Raccoon) since they're only in one map of the game.

 

Showa Street Market



Pachinko was never implemented into GMS, and perhaps due to client limitations (because of the minigame itself), it's unlikely that it will be seen in MapleLegends.

Basically, it's an arcade you can play in to get select prizes (e.g. Dark Scroll 30%).

And to add one other point: the videos showed the Pachinko machines were Level 25, but honestly, I think they could be set to any level. So I think scaling is probably possible, and should be considered.

If Pachinko was properly introduced in MapleLegends, I think it could help players to find more ways to enjoy the game.

 

El Nath



This is where people usually come out after the El Nath Party Quest.

But I believe this same object has also been sitting here in El Nath, long before 4th job was introduced.
