What are your favorite BGM Maps in MapleStory?

Ellinia, Orbis, El Nath, Shanghai(CMS and TMS version).

 

Pretty hard to choose, but my Top 5 for me would be:

1. Cygnus Garden - Easily the best Track. It's not deemed as old school, but this track in my opinion is easily the most Majestic track in the game.


2. Let's Hunt Aliens - Omega Sector is my favorite zones in the game, and this track stands out the most to me.


3. Crimsonwood Keep Interior - The Scale of how intense all the Crimsonwood Keep music is outstanding, with this one and the Gauntlet track being the best.


4. Fairy Tale - Majority of Ludibrium's tracks are top tier, with this one standing out the most for me.


5. Eregos - Majority of Guild PQ's Tracks are amazing, but Eregos stands out the most to me.

 

My most memorable OST would have to be slime tree in ellinia



it's just so nostalgic to me, since I basically grew up grinding in this map with my lil lvl 8 mage back when the game first released

 

This is amazing, can't say I've ever heard this BGM, but it's exceedingly enjoyable.

 

Oh I forgot this absolute banger.

Magatia - Dispute


Also, apparently there's an 8-bit version - I'm guessing it was there in the anniversary event. I should have explored more. Damn



Magatia is such a beautifully designed/themed area, and the music is really what ties everything together. You can hear the mischievousness and mystery in the textured elements of this composition - almost like you're supposed to be tiptoeing around everywhere while you try to uncover Magatia's deep, dark secrets.

 

OMG YOU FOUND IT. I can't believe you found it, how did you find it?! TYSM!! This drove me mad SO many times and the mystery is finally solved!!

 

i think BGM mean music right? the music i like the most from classic maplestory is ellinia field because the music feel so relaxed.

1. Dragon's Dream (in MapleLegends used for Jay's Library) - It just sounds beautiful imo

2. Flying in a Blue Dream - Sometimes I use the train or the Leafre transfer bird on purpose

3. Dragon's Nest - Heavier one that fits the area

4. Sunset Desert - Just melting away

5. Ancient Remains - Chilling here when GPQ party isn't ready yet

But let’s be honest just 3 is such a disservice. I can name so many more great ones

From a nostalgia standpoint, I love 1) The Intro Music 2) Lith Harbour 3) Henesy's Hunting Ground 4) Ellinia and 5) Kerning

funny thing is, it was BGM that brought me back to this game. Was looking for some music to put in the background when I thought of maple BGM. Havent touched the game in 15 years so I went to youtube to look at BGM compilations. Felt nostalgic so I went to search for a server

kerning city - nostalgia from kpq days.
train ride to ludibrium - super cheerful track. I had it as my ringtone in 2008
showa town hideout - the BGM starts out slow then gets good
slime tree and el nath as others have mentioned

I agree with the ambience thing. Back then pre 4th job El Nath was the map with the highest level monsters, with a level 50 requirement to enter the dead mine you are basically alone up there until you get to forest of dead trees (back then level 50 would be considered quite a semi high level). The music really amplifies that eerie feeling

 

ToT, especially on ice maps.
