    You could try to sleep?
Using electronics would probably just make it worse.

Neither of those two are possible. It's usually a case of sitting somewhere and screaming/puking

I've had these before and it seriously sucks. You can't sleep it off. I mean you can try, but it'll take a while before you even pass out. I usually just take an extra strength ibuprofen or two and lay in bed until it passes

My mom has the same thing and she takes medication to lessen the pain. But it never fully goes away, I'll ask her about it when I get home :)

I don't like to use medication unless absolutely necessary so I typically just deal with pain as it comes.

I don't know if this applies here but when I get headaches and they don't go away I put my feet in hot water and it actually works. Something about making the blood rush out of your head.... To me it's just magic
    Maybe it's worth a try.

I don't think it would apply to these since it's a neurological condition, BUT... nerves don't work the same without bloodflow. So I will try this next time if I can concentrate on what I'm doing enough to make it happen.

I don't know exactly the condition since the one I have isn't as extreme. In our family both my dad and mother tend to get really bad migraines from time to time. Usually caused by lack of sleep or stress.
I have it as well and I've had to deal with pain inside my head. When migraine gets bad even painkillers become useless. Much like in cluster headache. The best tips I could give would be: Try to jog or tire your body out during the day (if just possible), usually good intake of oxygen helps and it helps you to fall asleep. The other one is when you get these attacks try to get yourself in a pitch black room. Even if there's no attack, laying in a dark room makes it easier for your head.

But those are mainly tips for migraine. What I quickl gathered from cluster headache, it feels much more painful and harder to deal with. I wish I could help you better. That kind of pain is something you don't wish to anyone, it seriously sucks ass. Best wishes to you. Power to you.

Suffered from these in my senior year. Mostly they were caused by a mix of stress, loud m music, and a lack of sleep.

If any of those sound like you. Try to get yourself on a good non habit forming p painkiller. Get on a sleep schedule that won't leave you third inn the morning. And most importantly. Limit the amount of time spent in front of your computer screen. The stress on your eyes is killer.

I hope you can get through these quickly. They suck.

There are a lot of different causes, I've been assigned to keep a diary of my environment when they happen but the memory loss from this level of pain is just retarded.
Painkillers don't touch this at all. By the time they get in to my system, it's over, I'm already done violently writhing and screaming, and being terrorized of the next one.

Interesting you say this, I actually do get through them quickly. It's 30-60 minutes of pure hell on earth, and then it's over. Unlike a severe migraine, where the pain is... a small fraction of what cluster headaches feel like, but those little fuckers last for days and piss me off.
But jeez... long term, I hope they go away completely too. Thank you

I love me some good weed, but it doesn't help. Psylocybin mushrooms help the chain duration though. I just wish they weren't so damn illegal.
