ToT warps

Description of the bug:
When traveling through temple of time, sometimes when transitioning from one map with mobs to the next (which is always a resting spot), the screen seems to glitch out and you get warped immediately again. Essentially, the resting spot map is skipped, and you are sent directly to the next map with mobs.

What is supposed to happen?:
100% of the time this isn't supposed to happen.

A step-by-step guide to re-producing this bug (optional):
One way is to spam the UP key at the portal.

 

Uh... I think if it was intentional the screen transition would be more smooth. It seems like you are warped into the resting spot for only an instant before being taken to the next map. If it was really intentional, we'd go directly to the next map.

 

So, playing around with it I discovered something interesting. I think it's possible to trigger this bug 100% of the time if you mash the UP key on the warp. So I'm guessing maybe during normal play your finger might twitch a little sometimes and accidentally hit the key again?

I dunno. I bet it's due to the code on the portal that forces the player back if they haven't completed the corresponding kill 999 quest. Something about it is vulnerable to repeated uses before the server responds and the player is actually warped.
