This thing is probably worth at least 100m. Are there any other shoes in the game that add weapon attack? I don't think i've even seen face stompers.

 

For now they are cheap, cause christmas event just ended. When the supply reduces, they will inflate massively

 

2 attack isn't that much, 2 attack to me is < 1/60 increase in damage. If I use a heartstopper it's less then a 1/90 increase in damage. How do you find these numbers? I'm glad you didn't ask. But here it is:
Total Attack 9 Attack Gloves + 110 Attack Sword = 119
Take 2 and divide by 119...
It's 2/119 which is less then 2/120 (which reduces to 1/60) The % equivalent is about a 1.68% (rounded down) increase in damage. The only way to increase the difference in the attack is to do chaos it. Well, seeing as how many red socks there are (LOL, there's more then one?, no but seriously, you're going to have a really tough time finding them). You have to have a sock at like 14 attack to have it actually make somewhat of a difference (gl with that). If you had 140 Total Attack (Far from being impossible on a Hero), then the sock @ 14 attack would help you deal a little less then 10% extra damage. This equates to 14/140 = .1 or 10% increase in damage. Why does a heartstopper decrease the amount of damage that is dealt (simple mathematics explains this):
9 + 110 + 60 = 179. If I use a 2 attack sock when stoppering, my range goes up by only 2/179 or a 1.12% (rounded up) increase in damage.

In reality these numbers are off because normally people would have an item that adds +primary stats and a +secondary stat which would increase your range by a little.

This means the less attack your class normally has, the more it'll effect your damage.

 

So red stockings mean less to you, which is understandable. Still, it doesn't change the fact that this is Maplestory, and all the top players pay hundreds of millions of mesos if it means they increase their damage by 2%. lol

edit: oh yeah. And to reiterate: this is Maplestory, where most people are compulsive gamblers and would chaos that stocking in a heartbeat.

 

Now there's probably almost no one who has hundreds of millions of mesos thanks to all of the people who are quitting/have quit. I barely make it past 10 mil sometimes. I'm just telling people the damage difference in case they want to know.
