Completed Scheduled Maintenance April 11th, 2016

    Hello Maplers,

    We will be performing a Scheduled Maintenance on Monday, April 11. It will last approximately 1 hour. Upon completion, the game will be brought back online and service will be restored. Once restored, you can login and play! New updated files will be available for download shortly after the beginning of the maintenance. Detailed patch notes will be provided at the conclusion of the maintenance.

    6:30 PM

    What will be unavailable:
    • All MapleLegends game servers and channels
    Changes and Updates:
    • Part 2 of the MapleLegends Anniversary Event which will be enabled on Wednesday, noon server time automatically. Details will be a secret, but the Maple Administrator will explain it
    • All remaining new skins have been added to the skin stores
    • Fixed Traveler's Cape item
    • Candle monsters will now drop Blue presents so Islanders above level 30 can complete the quest
    • Summoning Sacks has been completely removed from the game and can no longer be obtained
    Patch notes (client sided):
    • Fixed some issues with specific event mobs
    • The small candles have the evasion removed to be beginner/islander friendly
    • Event preparation
    • OCD fixes
    More may be posted before/during the maintenance.

    Download link will be available once the maintenance is going on. It is REQUIRED to patch your game or else you'll disconnect everywhere because of our updates.

    wish we had a LITTLE hint about what the "2nd part is"

    is it buffed drop rates? new event quests? new monsters? new bosses? WIPE?

    I will make an installer with the files pre-patched, but I had no time to do so this time because I came home from work way too late.

    I dont think a wipe, at beta they told the people that it would be the first and last wipe. So the chances of a wipe is low. but buffed drop rates :3 :O

    Before a lot will tell me: I am aware Traveler's Cape has layering problems and this will be fixed later today, and auto applied on the next installer.

    buffed drop rates would be nice, especially btm dex 60%... not only the drop rate is low, the number of other types of scrolls the mob drops is ridiculous which makes it even harder to get one...

    Something I forgot to mention in 2 maintenances now: Summon Sacks are completely removed from quests/game and can no longer be obtained. This was applied a while ago, but I kept forget to mention it. So here it is.

    Sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused.
