Me, I'm taking down the omok god. Last time i dropped out because of a confusion in the bracket. IM READY THIS TIME

3 days left to sign up!!!
We'd like to get at least 32 players. (8 groups of 4)
If we pass that number we can shoot for 40. (8 groups of 5)
Also I'd like to discuss a certain rule.
One of the major differences between current Legends Omok and how Omok is usually played is that in Legends you cannot place a 3-x-3 even if it's to block a 5.
This rule makes a whole new way of winning and changes the game a lot.
Some players just play with it, some players don't like it.
In my opinion you should be allowed to use this to win unless both parties agree not to use it before the match. I'd like to hear what you think.

Working on it. Was about to post something about this today when I get home.

 

Haven't heard iChecco or Jess 's opinion about this but I thought we should probably change to 30 players, since we're really not getting any more people sign up :c
The system we planned on was 8 groups of 4, having 2 people advance from every group, leaving us with 16 players, after 1 round 8 players, then 4, then 2, then 1.
Instead I think we should go with 6 groups of 5, having 2 people advance from every group, leaving us with 12 players, then 6, then those 6 compete in 2 groups of 3, having the top player from each group advance to the finals, and the #2 of each group advance to the 3rd place match.
Yes, it's a little more complicated, but it's pretty fair, and only requires 30 players.
Opinions please, also if anyone else has any idea, share please.

 

Another idea I had was 28 players divided into 7 groups of 4, having 2 people advance from every group, leaving us with 14 people, which we divide into 2 groups of 7, having 4 people advance from each of them, and then the 8 remaining people have quarter finals, into semi finals, into finals.
Even weirder, but rquires even less people :x
